Jane acts normal, much to John's relief

Breaking the spell of tension, Jane's lips curved into a welcoming smile as she sat up slightly, propping herself up on her elbows. "Hey," she greeted in a warm voice, her eyes twinkling with a mixture of amusement and fondness.

John's heart skipped a beat, the knot of anxiety within him starting to unravel as he returned her smile. "Hey," he replied, his own voice laced with relief.

Jane stretched her arms above her head, her lithe body arching gracefully as she sighed contentedly. "I went for a swim, the pool was amazing," she said, her tone casual and carefree. "How about you? How was the rest of your time in the hot tub?"

John took a step closer, the distance between them slowly closing. His gaze remained fixed on her, the sight of her looking so at ease soothing his fears. "It was... relaxing," he replied, choosing his words carefully. "I spent some time unwinding, just enjoying the warmth."

As he moved to sit down beside her on the upper level of the sauna, John's heart lightened further.
