She starts to say something, and you cut her off. “Please, I'm sorry. And yes normally I can control myself much better than that.”

She lifts her head up and looks at you.

“Please, this is just a boy thing. You have a nice body, and I noticed, that’s all. Let’s get over this, okay?”

“Well, I kind of liked what I saw, too.” She says in a tiny voice, almost a whisper.

The silence in the room is palpable.

“Well,” you say, “I guess we’re even. But, listen, let’s please put this behind us. We’re both in college now. Plus, I am sure you’ll get so much action you’ll forget all about this soon.”

“John!” she giggles. “I know I am going to be a good girl. No hanky panky for me!”

“Liar!” You say. “Look, we were both geeks to some degree, but I assume you had messed around with guys somewhat. So let’s move on.”

She looks at you incredulously. “Why would you assume I’ve messed around? I have never even done anything more than kissing, and that was my one boyfriend!”

“It's just...I...assumed...since you are so attractive...” you stumble over your words, “I didn't mean it like that.”

“Look, it’s cool. As you said, we’re even now. This was a good talk, and I feel better, okay?”

“Okay.” You reply, walking back over to your side of the room.

You grab your laptop and start browsing a few sites to keep your mind out of the gutter and off Mandy’s panties.
