Pizza and promises

You leave the cuddling trio on the couch as you order the pizza. By the time you return, Emi is all smiles, and the three of them are all tangled together. You chuckle, and sit down in a nearby chair. Lili pouts at you.

“Aww, don’t you want to join-join us here?”

You shake your head. “I do, but then I’ll never be able to get the pizza when it arrives.”

Sam laughs. “Good point. We’re basically an inescapable **** now!”

Emi giggles. “Sam keeps trying to get into my pants! She says she’s trying to cheer me up.”

Sam winks at you. “I can’t think of a better way to distract someone, can you?”

You laugh, rolling your eyes. “You’re all a bunch of sex fiends.”

Lili nods excitedly. “Yes-yes! Sex is great, I love-love it!”

There’s laughter and banter all around, as you wait for the food to be delivered. When it finally arrives, you’re able to convince the girls to stop for long enough to eat, though it’s definitely ****. The four of you sit around the table, and the pizza disappears rather quickly.

At some point, the conversation turns to the events of the day. Sam hears the whole story, and she seems almost as angry as Emi did.

“Well, I’ll be damned if I’m going to stop investigating this asshole. I didn’t sign any contracts!”

You shake your head. “You know how risky that is, right? You could lose everything.”

Sam sighs. “I know, but I can’t just stand by and let it happen. I’ll see what I can do quietly. Don’t worry, I’ll be careful.”

You nod. “Good. I’d hate to see anything bad happen to you. I’m kinda fond of you, you know?”

Sam grins. “I’m fond of me too!”

You roll your eyes, and she laughs. “I’m kidding, Andy. Like I said, I’ll be careful. I kinda like you too. All of you.”

Emi nods. “We’re a family. We stick together.”

Sam raises an eyebrow. “A family? I can get behind that.”

Lili bounces in her seat. “Family love, yes-yes!”

You laugh. “I think that has a different meaning in this context, Lili, but yes.”

Sam pushes her plate away, looking at you with mischievous eyes. “I can think of a few different meanings we should explore.”

Emi nods. “Agreed. And I think the bedroom is a good place to start!”

Lili practically leaps from her seat. “Yes-yes, to the bedroom!”

She and Emi giggle, heading down the hallway to the bedroom. You laugh, starting to stand yourself, when Sam puts a hand on yours to stop you. Her face grows serious as she speaks.

“I meant what I said, though. I’ll keep looking for a way out of this mess. But I’ll be careful, I promise.”

You nod, and the sultry look returns to her eyes. “Now, let’s go cheer up Emi, shall we?”
