Time to leave, but...

Lauren, eager to leave, followed Dennis out. She tugged down on her skirt, wishing she was wearing something that covered more, and wasn't so silly looking!

They entered out onto the street. Dennis realized that their date was coming to an end. But, he didn't want it to end. Luckily, whatever he wanted happened, so he'd get his way!

I wish someone would come by and delay us from leaving he thought. Then, a brief wait, and...

"Lauren? Is that you?"

Dennis and Lauren turned to see a group approaching them. It was Charlotte, Mike, and their crew. Mike was the captain of the football team, Charlotte head cheerleader. They were a match made in heaven... except Lauren had spent years keeping them apart, flirting with Mike, spreading rumors about Charlotte. Doubtless, Man, Dennis loved having powers!
