You take a break to get some lunch

You dot down a few final notes, after two hours of uninterrupted reading, you have finally finished a rather boring chapter, and what perfect timing it’s just in time for lunch.

You stand up and stretch a little and look around, there are so few student’s in the library now, despite it all you have to admit that all those people leaving with Taylor was a benefit for you as it got much more quite, so studying was a little more easy.

You gather your stuff in your bag, walk outside and just wait, fully expecting Jane to just show up, you realize just how silly that line of thought is, so you get out your phone and call her.

She instantly answers you as you say:

“Hi, I thought we were meeting up for lunch?”

“Huh… yeah, no, I’m kind of busy, just go with your friend… whats his face…”

“You mean Jacob?”

“Yes him, I know he’s pretty free right now…”

But she hangs up before you can finish and you think you can make out some sounds in the background that sounded like gasping and yelling, like at a sport match, it’s kind of familiar how the sounds seem to echo.

You look at your phone a little disappointed that your girlfriend would blow you off, but decide to meet up with Jacob.

It only takes a few minutes to walk over to the cafeteria, as you do you remember how everything used to be when you and Jane were on bad terms, and she was ruling everything with a perverted iron fist. You say your goodbyes and head back to the library to study, but a part of you wants to meet Jane, you wonder what she’s doing right now and you could always go and try to find her.
