What happens in the gym?

Monokuma's Big Announcement

You arrive in the gym to find it looking the same as always, but feeling conspicuously empty. When you had first been gathered here to be informed of the insane Killing Game, there had been fifteen of you; now only the four of you are standing in the large space, waiting apprehensively. Fukawa, now fully dressed, arrives about a minute later; Maizono awkwardly averts her gaze from the bookish girl, having witnessed her masturbation session just a short while ago, but you make yourself fight through the embarrassment and look her in the face. "Fukawa-san," you say, giving her a slight nod.

"W-where is everyone?" Fukawa stammers, looking around the gym as she stands some distance away from the rest of you. "H-how come it's j-just us here?"

"We don't know!" replies Asahina, failing to keep the panic out of her voice. "They just... disappeared this morning!"

"I suspect it has something to do with why Monokuma has gathered us here," you add, grimly.

Fukawa looks at each of you in turn before turning her face away, muttering to herself under her breath. You hear something about there only being girls, and Byakuya Togami's name is mentioned; Fukawa seems more irritated than concerned for the wellbeing of the other students. A few moments later, Celeste walks into the gym, wearing her usual calm expression, and joins the rest of you as you stare at the small podium on top of the stage at the end of the room.

It only takes a few more moments for Monokuma to make his appearance, popping up behind the podium and speaking into the attached microphone. "Puhuhuhuhu! Sorry to keep you waiting!" he laughs.

Asahina clenches her fists in anger at the bear's mirth. "What have you done with Ogami-san?!" she demands, before quickly adding "and everyone else?!"

"Yeah!" adds Enoshima, confusion evident in her voice. "Don't we, like, need everyone here for this killing game thing?"

Monokuma laughs again, unperturbed by your classmates' outbursts. "I suppose I should probably explain everything. It's been fun watching you all freak out over it, but it gets old pretty quickly and I've got much more enjoyable activities planned." He raises a paw. "If you would turn your attention to the monitor." You all look up at the screen and it flickers into life, showing what is unmistakeably the dining hall of Hope's Peak Academy. Sat around the tables are Fujisaki, Ogami, and all of the male students, conversing with each other. By the looks on their faces, they're just as concerned about the situation as all of you are, with the exception of Togami, of course, who just looks bored.

"How is this possible?" Celeste asks, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. "I was there not five minutes ago, and none of the missing students had arrived."

"Glad you asked, Miss Ludenburger," Monokuma chuckles. "I'm very proud of what I've achieved here! What you are seeing on the screen is not actually Hope's Peak Academy, but a perfect replica of our illustrious school! I moved the others there last night in their sleep. When they woke up they did the whole freak out routine that you guys did, but once I explained to them that the Killing Game was over they seemed to settle down a bit!"

"The... killing game is over?" Enoshima asks, her words slow, like she's struggling to process the concept. "But, how? Why...?"

"I-if the k-killing game is over, w-why haven't we b-been let go?!" Fukawa demands, looking furious.

"And why have you separated us six from the others?" you ask. "What's the point of all this?"

"Jeez, one at a time!" Monokuma says, raising his paws in the air in exasperation. "I've already told Ogami and the boys this, but I got kind of bored of the Killing Game idea. Especially as none of you were freakin' killing anyone! I thought human teenagers were all supposed to be violent because of all the video games they play! How disappointing!"

"You got... bored?" Enoshima oddly seems to have some kind of comprehension on her face all of a sudden, despite the absurdity of the bear's words.

"Yup!" chirps Monokuma. "So I came up with a super fun new game, just for you six lucky ladies! I already told the others all about it!" He waves his paw and the monitor displaying the apparent replica of the dining hall fades to black again. "The 'violent teens' idea may have been exaggerated, but I know one thing that humans definitely get enough of," the bear continues. "Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a clue, it's a three-letter word that starts with 'S' and ends in the new name for Twitter!... X, for the less cultured among you."

A chill runs down your spine. You look around at the other girls and they all share a look of intense concern on their faces, apart from Asahina, who seems to be struggling with the spelling aspect. When it finally dawns on her, her eyes go wide. "What the heck?!" she exclaims in disbelief. "You can't be serious, surely!"

"I'm always serious, and don't call me Shirley!" Monokuma retorts. "I should have done this from the start! I've got a big facility, I've got cameras, and I've got you guys - six Ultimate sluts with tight teen bodies just waiting to be defiled. All the ingredients are right here for the perfect sexual entertainment extravaganza!"

At this point the gym dissolves into chaos. All five of the other girls are yelling their protests at Monokuma just like when the killing game idea was first announced. The same kind of topics are brought up - how he couldn't do this, how the authorities and the students families would get involved, how they'd never submit to what the bear wanted. As all of this goes on around you, you stay focused on Monokuma, who laughs hysterically to himself, clearly enjoying the chaos he has created. A few moments later, however, the laughing stops, and he raises his paw once again to the monitor. You look up and see the screen opening itself up like a doorway, revealing what is unmistakeably a small gatling gun behind it, moving around to focus on each of you in turn.

"Everyone, be quiet!" you yell over the top of your classmates, and a hush falls over the room as the other girls follow where your gloved hand is pointing to stare wide-eyed up at the gun.

Monokuma laughs once again, but with a more sinister tone than he has so far. "The killing game might be over, but I still have all its technology in place. Remember what almost happened to your friend Owada-kun in our first meeting? That was your final warning. Anyone who goes against my orders and refuses to participate in my new game from now on will be... dealt with. Puhuhuhuhu~"

Your fellow students seem to arrive at the same grim conclusion that you had already come to. Direct resistance was futile. Until some kind of escape route or weakness within Monokuma's plan was exposed, your only choice was to go along with what the bear said. On one hand, at least you weren't each other's enemies anymore, the paranoia of the killing game having seemingly been lifted. On the other hand, however, your treatment was now entirely in the hands of the psychopath or organization controlling the robotic bear, and they'd already made it very clear what kind of intentions they had for your bodies. You swallow, but it does nothing to rid you of the lump that's formed in your throat. Somehow, the life-and-**** situation you were in previously hadn't so much as made you flinch, but this... this was different, somehow.

After a few more moments of silence, the bear speaks up again. "Glad we have an understanding," he says. "Now, on with the game! Please gather in the dining hall within ten minutes!" He disappears as suddenly as he'd entered, leaving all of you alone with each other and your thoughts. You don't have long to recover yourselves... the new game has begun.

What's next?
