Chapter 6

Round 2 Begins
Poorly for Nadia
The atmosphere in the gym becomes charged as the match takes an unexpected turn. David, fueled by a mix of anger and determination, begins to land punches on Nadia. His awkwardness from before has been replaced by a newfound confidence, and his blows, while not the most powerful, manage to find their target.
Nadia's annoyance and frustration are evident as she tries to maintain her usual swagger. However, each time she attempts to throw shade or insults at David, she leaves herself open, and he takes advantage of it, landing another hit. A low grunt escapes her lips every time she's struck, her confidence waning with each blow.
"Nice try, David," she manages to grit out between breaths, "but you're still a long way from actually impressing anyone here." Her words are met with another jab to her side, causing her to wince.
David's focus and determination are unwavering as he continues to press his advantage. He's no longer the timid, scrawny nerd that Nadia first encountered. His punches may lack finesse, but they carry the weight of his frustration, and they're finding their mark more often than not.
Nadia's taunts become more sporadic as she struggles to maintain her composure. Each time she tries to throw shade at David, she's met with a counterpunch, a stark reminder that she's not invincible. Her confidence wavers as she realizes that her usual tactics aren't working against this new and improved David.
"You know, David," she pants, "for someone who used to stumble around like a newborn calf, you're surprisingly... persistent." She attempts to muster a confident grin, but it's clear that her usual bravado is faltering.
Another hit lands squarely on her chest, knocking the wind out of her, and she stumbles back, barely managing to keep her footing. Her annoyance boils over, and she scowls at David. "You're really starting to get on my nerves," she snaps, attempting to regain some semblance of control.
But David's focus is unwavering, and he continues to press his advantage. Each punch he lands seems to chip away at Nadia's confidence, leaving her more **** than she's ever been.
As the match progresses, Nadia's once-confident demeanor has crumbled, replaced with frustration and a growing sense of defeat. She's no longer the one calling the shots, and it's clear that David's determination is winning out over her usual mind games.
