Primeape runs straight for Golbat, but its opponent easily flies out of the way before the attack connects.

Brooke yells, “Golbat, use Wing Attack!”

Golbat swoops in and lands a direct hit against Primeape with its wing. Right, Flying is super-effective against Fighting… That single attack looks like it did some good damage. Still, that won’t stop you or your Primeape! “THRASH PRIMEAPE! DESTROY YOUR OPPONENT!”

Primeape’s rage matches your own frustration at Pewter City’s insufferable Gym Leader. It’s going absolutely wild, but that’s not quite enough to overcome its poor type matchup. Brooke shouts, “Golbat, Fly up!”

Golbat gains as much altitude as it can within the club, which is still plenty to avoid any attack from Primeape. Stuck without an outlet for its fury, Primeape stomps around the stage ineffectively.

You keep eye contact with Brooke, glaring the whole time. “This. Isn’t. Fair.”

“But it was you who didn’t play fair first. To toy with my heart by walking in here dressed like a stripper already, only to play hard-to-get with that fuckable body of yours! Besides, you’re cute when you’re mad.”

You growl like a vicious animal, but Primeape can’t match your ferocity as he runs out of steam and loses balance. Brooke orders, “Now Golbat, while it’s Confused! Land with Fly and then follow-up with Wing Attack!”

Primeape is an easy target for Golbat’s combo attack. It happens quickly, Golbat crashing into Primeape with a powerful tailwind behind it, then swerving around and striking Primeape with its wing. Unfortunately, your pokemon falls over and is unable to fight any longer.

Your anger may leave you at a loss for words, but Brooke certainly has plenty to say. “The way you lose is even more delightful to watch than I imagined! Head backstage, Lily. The staff will get you all suited up in our ‘premium’ uniform for the night.”
