Where is Richard off to?
School
I walked a few blocks to the bus stop, where waiting for me was a vision of beauty in a flowery dress: my girlfriend, Faith. She was a petite girl: 5-foot-nothing and 100 pounds with fair skin, freckled cheeks, sparkling green eyes and curly copper locks. As she turned and smiled at me, I noticed something about her had changed.
"You got your braces out", I exclaimed.
"Yeah! I went to the orthodontist on Saturday", she replied. "Do you like it?"
"Well, let's just say I didn't think it was possible for you to get even prettier" I suavely retorted, earning a cute little giggle from Faith. "Why didn't you tell me? I would've come to see you."
"I wanted it to be a surprise. The first of many for my special man's special day."
On that, she wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me into a tight hug. My arms followed suit, going over her shoulders and around the back of her head due to our height difference.
"So, what other mysteries do you have planned?" I asked.
"All in good time, love", she replied, "but right now I've got a mouth with no metal and there's only one thing I want to do with it."
I leaned my head down and kissed her, and in that moment...
...
...
The world stopped.
