Investigate further

This demands further investigation. You walk in the direction the nerd was standing and spot another light, smaller and more focused. When you get closer, you see the nerd kneeling on the floor and shining a light on some rock while gently brushing it with what looks like a makeup brush. “What are you doing?” you ask. Nerds love it when you ask what they’re doing. They’ll talk about it for hours.

“It would be pointless to explain to someone of your intellect. Stop wasting my time and bother somebody else.”

Huh?

“Pay attention to me!” you demand.

The nerd huffs in frustration. “I’ve no attention to spare for some random bimbo who thinks she’s entitled to favors just because her tits are huge!”

You let out a scandalized gasp. “ExCUSE me!? Bimbo!? I’ll have you know I am refined, elegant, and definitely smart! My inconveniently big boobs have nothing to do with…”

You lecture the nerd for a long time.

“And that’s why everyone should always be respectful to girls with big boobs! Especially nerdy losers like you!”

The nerd isn’t even paying attention to you. Come to think of it, he was probably playing in the dirt for most of your speech, but you were too immersed in the act to really notice. “So what are you doing?” you ask again.

He heaves an exasperated sigh. “I’m looking for fossils. If I can find one with enough of an ancient creature’s DNA, we can extrapolate their genetic structure and greatly advance the field of pokemon research. We might even be able to reconstruct them on a molecular lev-”

“Neeeeeerd,” you interrupt. “Hey, you mentioned pokemon, right? Are you a trainer? Let’s have a battle! If I win, you have to escort me out of the cave. And you’d better be respectful while you’re doing it, too!”

The nerd looks to be suffering greatly, though you’re not sure why. He should be excited at the opportunity to battle a cute girl like yourself! Nerds always get worked up about cute girls, right?

“Anything to get you to leave me alone…” he mutters.
