"Before we get to that though, Dee? Do you mind if I barrow Chuck for a few minutes? Just need a word. You can go introduce yourself to my ladies if you'd like?"

Charles laughed nervously. That meant Walt wanted to "talk shop". Not that he minded particularly but it could surely wait-

"Splendid idea!" Daisy said patting Charles on the back hard enough to make him stumble and Walt put his arm around his shoulder with that damn iron grip of his. "You boys have fun catching up and smoking your cigars over here and I'll meet the ladies!"

"Awwww!" Charles let out. "But sweetie I wanted to interogate the ladies! Walt finally got himself some other than Friday and hot damn are some of them hot! I want an eyeful, er- eheheh!" He blushed.

Walt shook his head while Daisy giggled. "Come on horn dog... let's go talk."

"Crud," Charles said. "Fine!" He slumped his shoulders in defeat as Walt dragged him away before saying, "Good enough?"

Walt chuckled giving a slight nod. "Damn good as always. We're about far enough from anyone who might have been watching." Charles was a genuinely silly guy and acted a fool at times but he was also one of the most clever folks Walt knew. People underestimated Charles Gardner at their peril.

Their friendship confused a lot of people... but they were just that. Best friend's, partners and comrades. Charles was one of the few people Walt trusted implicitly and he had a keen mind hidden away under the silly oddball act... and the feeling was mutual. A lot of people didn't understand what a fun loving guy like Charles saw in an old fashioned, stick in the mud, bumpkin like Walt. But Charles knew Walt had his own crazy ideas of outrageous fun and he was the fiercest friend one could have.

"Friday, a little interference if you please," Walt said.

(("Done. Surveillance countermeasures active. You two can talk freely, Boss."))

Charles had dropped the act. "Okay. What's got you so nervous? Can't be good."

Walt nodded pulling out the flask. "It ain't. It's about RealDreams and some peculiar things that have been going on." He passed Charles the flask. " you see Chuck, It all started awhile back when..."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Your Royal Highness."

Daisy giggled at Walters entourage as they bowed and courtsied. "Likewise and please feel free to dispense with the formalities. You're all Walter's family and that makes you like family as well! Thank you for taking such good care of Walter. I've rarely ever seen him so happy. He's a dear friend." She especially smiled at Penny, Neo and Manami. "Thank you for all that you've done. The cookies were wonderful and you made them from scratch for the entire family and so many! That was a very sweet, thoughtful and kind gesture, Penny and I've been so looking forward to meeting you!"

She gave Penny a warm hug. Penny hugged her back smiling happily. She loved friends and hugs. "I am so glad everyone enjoyed them! You are all important to Walter so that makes you important to us as well!"

Daisy laughed delighted. "Oh that makes me so happy! I always hoped Walt would find someone to open his heart back up someday! And such a sweetheart! I should have known... I bet he adores you to pieces!"

She turned to Neo and Manami. "And thank you for accepting my request of filming for us! We have our own camera people of course but after your request I watched your videos and-" she suddenky wrapped her arms around the three of them squeezing them. Walt had warned them but Daisy was still surprisingly strong and energetic!

"And I'm a fan! I subscribed to your channel immediately and I watch all your videos immediately as soon as they drop! Oh, I bought one of each of the merchandise! The T-Shirts, the stickers, the mug and- oh, I was thinking you really should put out more!" She smooshed Penny's face in her hands. "You should plaster this mug on everything. Manami dear your camera work is fantastic and Neo your sense of humor and what tge audience will enjoy is spot on! Have you girls ever thought about performing?"

Neo grinned, it felt good to have a fan, texting. [Performing what?]

Manami was dutifully recording and Daisy beamed. She happily linked arms with Penny and Neo and startedwalking and talking. "Well I was thinking maybe some kind of a show! Do you ladies have any performing talents you enjoy? This one time I got really into music and I formed a band with- oh! Do pardon me a moment. I think my son needs me. Cuddlebuggie!"

The girls laughed. Daisy was just as Walt had described her... a delight! They hung back watching and recording mother and son smiling.
