Someone who has been sitting in front of you this whole time gets to be the leader of the school

A few days later you find yourself again in the library studying as the later part of the semester has started.

Jane pops into existence in the air, and judging by how she's practically dancing in the air, waggling and clenching her fists, that she's almost exploding from giddiness.

But much to your disappointment, she's totally ignoring you, you thought at first she was here for you, in all honesty hoping that she was, because you have been re-reading the same page for the last few minutes and wouldn't mind a little "study break".

Instead she's looking towards a nerdy meek small woman, sitting on another table away, but in your sight, she has been here the whole semester more or less, expect the occasional time when she suddenly just left with a group of students.

The meek woman, as you, has been spending all her time at the library studying, and you think the only interaction you have had with her was the occasional awkward friendly smiles as your eye's meet in the library, or when you or her were getting some water to drink. But there was always something about her that was familiar, or maybe you just thought so because she always looked so calm and chilled, especially when everyone was studying for an exam, she just looked cool as as a cucumber, and it had actually helped you also a few times, to calm your study nerves.

The meek nerdy woman is wearing an over-sized hoodie with the logo of the women's basketball team, listening to music in her headphones that go over her short cute, but stylish, haircut, totally focusing on her studies.

You watch as Jane leans her hand forward, pointing towards the woman and snaps her fingers.

Suddenly the woman stops and her head twitches, she slowly raises her head from the book in front of her, looks around, like she's just witnessed something super amazing. Then she starts laughing, causing you and a few of your fellow students to look at her in confusion, that quickly turns into shushes, causing the woman, to stop and get a little red in the face, making you get that feeling again that you should recognize her from somewhere.

You watch her lean her head shamefully down, mutter something to herself, raise her head up again with a smile that breaks into a laughter that goes on for a few seconds until it starts getting very loud and maniacal, which causes her to get shushed again, but this time it seems like fewer student's are paying her attention.

She stops but this time she's looks both embarrassed and puzzled, you look at Jane who's floating above, looking rather excited by theses events, positively on the edge of her seat, in the figurative sense, because she's just floating in the air.

The woman puzzlement goes into a disappointing look, then a mild smile, as she mutters again something to herself and goes back to studying with a chill demeanor.

Which causes Jane to throw her hands in disappointment and say out loud annoyed: "Come on!"

Which in turn causes you to shush Jane loudly, but that just leads to everyone giving you a weird look, even the nerdy woman, causing you to be slightly embarrassed much to Jane's clear amusement.

You look towards the woman, but she gives you a friendly smile, then moves her hand over her ear like she's trying to brush hair behind it, but she's just has a short stylish haircut and only manages to hit her earphones in a clumsy way, gets slightly red and goes back to reading, which you also do, managing to get on track on that page you were reading.
