Heading to Celadon

"All good to go?" Delia inquired and Ashley nodded. Feeling her mother reach out for her hand, it honestly felt quite good. Hopefully, this feeling would last the entire trip.

Outside, Pallet Town looked to be in the same state it had always been. Made it quite a bit easier to grab a taxi.

"Where too?" the driver inquired and watched the pair take their seats. Getting buckled in, Delia leaned forward. Taking a moment to check that Ashley didn't have anything to add, her attention turned ahead.

"The Celadon City Mall." Delia announced and got a nod from the driver. Afterwards, the vehicle headed off. The perfect cue for Delia's attention to shift back to her daughter.

"I'm so excited." Ashley cooed and watched a smile form on her mother's face. While likely not what she was expecting to do here, it was certainly better than staying around the house.

"Me too." Delia answered and looked out the window. Thankfully, the roads had gotten a much-needed facelift. If they hadn't, then this trip would've taken quite a bit more time than it did now.

Looking out the window, she watched the lights of Celadon quickly come into view, with it their destination. All the more reason to pull out her wallet. A small tip was definitely in order here.

"We're here." the taxi driver announced and brought the vehicle to a stop. Delia pulled some cash out and handed it over. Unbuckling, she paid the driver. Ashley did the first task, but stopped at the second.

With that now out of the way, the pair exited the vehicle.
