Gremlins New Beginning

-Chapter One-

-A Gift from the Fam.-

Mr. And Mrs. Muller had no way of knowing what was in store for them when they stumbled in to that little shop in Chinatown looking for a gift for they're son Ash.

The shop proprietress was Madame Woh, a severe yet beautiful Chinese widow in her seventies. She watched them like a hawk as they browsed her wares. Plenty of the bric-a-brac and knick-knacks were eye-catching, but none of them were quite what mr. Muller and Mrs. Muller was looking for. That is, until both them heard a cute, trilling voice vocalizing what sounded like Britney Spears oopsided I did it again.

Mr. Muller followed the sound until he found a small, ornate box. The lid opened as a big-eared, wide-eyed little creature popped out and stared at him. The'yd found it. The perfect gift.

But Madame Woh was obstinate. No matter how much cash Mrs. Muller offered her, she insisted that the "Mogwai" was not for sale.

They gave up and was heading for the door. But Woh had a granddaughter is about round Ash's age. She tugged on Mr. Muller's sleeve and whispered they should meet her outside.

In the alley behind the shop, Woh's granddaughter gave Them the box with the Mogwai in it in exchange for their wad of cash. But before letting mr. muller and mrs. muller go, she instructed them on three major rules for taking care of the creature.

1) Keep her away from bright lights. Bright lights can hurt her, and sunlight could kill her.

2) Never get her wet.

3) Most important of all, no matter how much she beg, never feed her after midnight.

Ash was having a rough day. At his job at the tech company, he had to deal with the town's very own Scrooge he think the next Steve Jobs in tech world, Darshal, along with his slimy superior complex thinking he understand technology and programming but without his only employees Ash and his female buddy / rival Tay he wouldn't be able get his company up and running.

Afterwards ash and tay get done with work they get called from they're landlord Akira that she needs somebody to come get her a lift at local hootenanny bar,

at the bar, they had to deal with getting drunk Akira, back home. As they dragged her through the snow toward gabby's car, she rambled about really old drinking buddy of her who used to be a soldier talk about seeing "gremlins" during the second world war. He told her that they'd sabotage military equipment. He also claimed the females of the species were attracted to humans especially the male kind if catch his meaning and would take advantage of them when they were at their most **** and loneliness.

Then they walked Akira to door of her apartment and had to contend with the bad mood she will be in when Christmas morning comes around for some reason.

Tay and Ash say they've fairwells as they go to their own apartments that three doors down the hallway from each other.

Before ash goes inside he notices a package with small wholes on sides of box right front of his door that for him from his parents, pick it up and take it with him.

His night got better when he opened the gift from his folks sent him. Ash see a letter on top of wrapping paper he start reading after he finish, he followed the directions his mom wrote starting with dimmed the lights then closing window blinds on only the windows in the apartment that over looks his Linux installed windows10 computer, with those taken care of ash begins removed the wrapping paper to find the ornate box inside. The lid slowly opened as the tiny, cuddly creature climbed out, much to the fascination of Ash.

The creature had wide, tan ears and big, violet eyes. It was covered in grey and cream-colored white fur, and it appeared to have pink hair flowing from its head down its back. It had unusually big lips and long lashes, and it seemed to be batting them at Ash as if flirting while serenading him by humming Britney's I Think I'm in love.

Ash continued reading the letter to find out more about this cute creature,

"It's called a Mogwai," dad explained. "I have no was of 100% knowing what gender the little fuzzball is, but we call the little cutie Sakura because it reminds us of pink hair girl from Naruto we start watching, me and your mother were worried that you living by yourself would get very lonely so we decided get you this little cutie so give her really good name and take great care of her." Oh by ash follow these three rules.

Then ash recapped the three rules that written in the letter.

Ash look at that little creature, I think I'll name you Gnu said ash, Gnu look ash with joy then look around the room and noticed ash's computer look at with curiosity ash notices gnu reactions and he crack a smile, I think I'm going fun tomorrow teaching you everything about Linux little buddy said ash.

That night, Ash cuddled Gnu tightly as he slept. Gnu snuggled up close, breathing in Ash's scent. Gnu had much more devious things in mind for him than mere cuddles.
