Chapter 25
by
Manbear
What do you tell her?
I don't know.
(adapted from a thread written by darkmagi)
"I don't know." You see doubt flicker in her eyes. "I'm not lying to you Cassia, I could never do that." Continuing earnestly as you try not to look at the exposed parts of her body. "About ten years ago I was found lying unconcious in the forest. Before that, I can't remember anything."
Cassia's face softens as you continue your story.

"I don't know who my parents are, or how I could use the blue stone. My very first memory is waking up and seeing Eudora smiling at me and holding my hand."
Cassia is momentarily saddened by the reminder of Eudora, but quickly smiles at you. "All right my hero. I believe you, how could I not believe you after all you've done for me." She says quietly. "Though I have never heard of an untrained person having so much power." A powerful feeling of relief fills you and you look again at your companion, marvelling at her trust in you. You are still covered from neck to foot in the stiff leather armor. Some of the buckles had been loosened by the demonic sirens in the other room, but the demon who had assaulted Cassia had been much more efficient. In Cassia's struggles with the demon the front of her armor had been pulled open and you can still see the swell of a white breast peaking from the quilted lining.
"Maybe one of my parents was a prophet or a holy being in mortal form." You stammer out as you stare at her partially exposed tit unable to lift your eyes from the sight. Cassia's eyes drop to the floor avoiding your gaze as she tries to make sense of the attack she just suffered.
"What happened? How did that demon get here and why did he look like you?" Cassia asks and after a brief hesitatation you settle next to her on the blanket and tell her about the three demons and how they almost fooled you with their nearly naked bodies and soul-wrenching story of woe.
Cassia nods as you finish your recollection of the events. "Thank you for what you did." You had expected her to blame you for your carelessness and lustful weakness. To hear her words of gratitude made your chest swell with pride, and not just your chest swelled.
You had been rock hard when the demons had tempted you, the desperate fight with Cassia's attacker and the sight of his feral face had nearly erased any sign of your desire, however now even as you stammer in confusion the sight of Cassia sitting so close on the blanket still not entirely covered by the armor is reviving the intense feelings you have had for your companion since you first saved her. The memory of watching the demon kissing Cassia using your body was powerfully arousing; your lips pressed to hers, your hands reaching for her white thighs. You try to push these thoughts away hoping Cassia won't mistake your attraction for her for simple lust.
Cassia's eyes drop to her open neckline seemingly noticing her exposed flesh for the first time. As she fumbles with her armor, Cassia asks:
"Are we still safe here? Or should we leave before the other two you saw come back?"
Are you safe here or should you head back out again?
