Does the escape plan work?
Kind of... Except it works on Aqua.
"Now!" Kazuma roared, running for the door, and throwing it open as hard as he could. SLAM!!! He felt the satisfying impact of it hitting something, and with an evil grin, saw a figure staggering back, hunching down.
"Punt time!" Megumin shouted, and along with Kazuma, they wound up kicks, and struck the figure, sending it sprawling.
"...wait a second," Kazuma blinked as his brain caught up with the situation. "... wasn't the doll a lot smaller?"
"...shit, you're right..." Megumin sweat dropped. "Don't tell me..."
Kazuma turned on a light... And as Kazuma and Megumin had both thought, their unwitting victim was Aqua. "...eh heh... Uh... Whoops?" He then heard familiar laughter, and slowly turned to see Ria, floating at the ceiling, clutching her sides as she struggled to regain full use of her lungs. "...you were watching the whole time, weren't you?" he deadpanned.
"Of course! Like I was gonna miss such quality comedy as you guys running away screaming from some g-g-gh-ghooooosts!" she cackled, mocking them through the stutter. "I tell you, you just can't buy entertainment like this!"
"Right... So then... She's going to be pissed when she comes to, isn't she?" Kazuma asked.
Almost immediately answering his question was Aqua, popping up, and angrily shaking him. "Ouch! What the hell was that for, you damned neet!?" she raged as she kept shaking him, and for once, he didn't retaliate, recognizing he had it coming this time. Though Megumin and Ria laughing like mad didn't help that decision much.
