Still refuse

"Still no," Lois said.

Blaze stood behind Lois again swung the whip again, cutting the Daily Planet reporter across her back again. Lois screamed in pain, fighting back tears. The whip dug into Lois's flesh, drawing blood. Her back was heavily scarred. Her hair was a mess.

Blaze leaned over and whispered, "Stop fighting me, woman. If you want to get out of this alive, you'll do what I say."

Lois's face turned dark.

"I'll never stop fighting you," she hissed.

Blaze laughed.

"Oh, but you will. Lois, you're not a hero. You're not a rebel. You're not even a good woman."

Lois looked at the ground, tears streaming down her face.

"I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish," she said. "But I'm not your girl. I'm not your pet. And I'm certainly not your ****."

"Okay, I'm gonna have to pull your teeth out myself," Blaze.

Lois struggled as Blaze put her hand in Lois' mouth. Lois bit down. Blaze slapped Lois across the face. Just then an old man appeared in white robes.

Blaze turned to him, "Father."

"You killed him," the old man said.

"You mean Billy? That's what happens when you send a boy."

The old man blasted the demon with lightning, sending her flying into a wall. He then approached Lois.

"I cannot hold her off for long," he said to her. "It is up to you to defeat her."

"But how? I'm not a superhero?"

"I open my heart to you, Lois Lane. And in so doing, choose you as champion."
