Learning a new skill, and letting something slip.

As they started drinking the tea, Wiz smiled at the two, and asked, "So, what did you want to ask me?"

"I was wondering if you had any skills you could teach me," Kazuma replied. At this, Aqua proceeded to do an epidural spit take with her tea... Right into Wiz's face, much to her dismay.

"Are you crazy Kazuma!? LICH SKILLS!?" Aqua demanded, grabbing Kazuma's shirt and shaking him. "Lich skills are worthless. Liches like cold, damp abd dark places, they're basically giant slugs!"

"...you have exactly five seconds to take that back," Kazuma told Aqua in a serious tone, seeing that Wiz was a bit upset at the insult, and quite frankly, the idea of comparing her to a slug was absolutely ludicrous. "If you don't, I'm cutting your food budget in half."

"Fine!" Aqua whined at that. "But still, as a Goddess, I can't condone you learning such unnatural skills! Besides, you literally learned Endure and Fireball yesterday!"

"Yes, but I still have leftover points to spend, and I want as much variety as I can get my hands on. We're going up against the Devil King, sooner or later, and I've decided to stick with the Adventurer class because it fits the way I fight. But to compensate for its weaknesses, I'm going to need all the skills I can get my hands on to take full advantage of the ability it offers, so I can totally bust the class."

"Hmph, fine..." Aqua pouted.

"Wait... Did you say you were a Goddess?" Wiz asked nervously. "...is that why your Turn Undead Skill worked on me?"

"...well, that cat's out of the bag," Aqua remarked as Kazuma face palmed. "I'm the goddess of the Axis sect!" she declared. Wiz proceeded to hide behind Kazuma nervously.

"What's wrong?" Kazuma asked her.

"...the Axis sect are a bunch of religious zealots... And now I see their goddess right before me... It's kind of nerve wracking..." Wiz said timidly.

"Relax, I have her on a tight leash," Kazuma assured Wiz.

"No need to say it like that!" Aqua huffed.

"Okay... How about Drain Touch? That's something you can learn as an Adventurer," Wiz remarked. "Most of my other spells might be too advanced for you to have the skill points, especially if you learned Endure, that one's expensive on the skill points... I'll need a target to demonstrate on though..."

"Sure... Drain all you want," Aqua smirked, holding a hand out, which got Kazuma suspicious. No way Aqua was being magnanimous with an undead... He then realized why, Aqua was somehow preventing Wiz from draining even a little bit from her, and was just using this opportunity to mock Wiz... A smack upside the head and a scolding fixed that issue right quick.

"Great, it's on my card now! I can learn a pretty darn useful skill now!" Kazuma grinned. "And I think I got enough points left over to learn Heal from you later Aqua... Gonna want that to patch myself up if I take a blow that triggers Endure..."
