Chapter 20 by nobodyspecial2324 nobodyspecial2324

What is Valerie's reply?

She admits defeat

Valerie let out a deep groan, a mix between simulation and frustration. The former was from grinding against Lang's cock, while the later was from having been completely outwitted.

"You win, Hawk.", she said, her shoulders slumping as all resistance left her body. She closed her eyes.
"I surrender. Do what you want with me."

"Thought you'd never ask.", he smiled, shooting her. She felt a sharp sting, and fell into darkness.

Valerie awoke to find herself laying in a bed in an unfamiliar room. There was a faint light coming from around the shades drawn over the windows, and the rest of the room was sparsely decorated. She realized she was in a dingy motel room.

She threw back the covers and found herself to be naked. There were no clothes lying around, the sole exception being a man’s shirt draped over the back of a chair. She pulled it on, drawing it close as she heard the sound of a shower running from the room next to her.

Hawk emerged from the bathroom, clad in just a towel, his hair still wet. His tight chest and ripped body looked very enticing.

"You're awake.", he smiled. "And you stole my shirt. Not fair."

Valerie pouted. "After what you did to me, I'd say we're nowhere near even."

"I'm sorry.", he replied. His expression was serious, and Valerie felt like he meant it. "I didn't have a choice. It was the only way my plan could have worked."

She decided to not waste her breath in arguing about what had happened. "What about the diary?", she asked, getting up from the bed and walking to the window.

"I couldn't trust any one person with that information, not even your employer. I sent the contents to every single law enforcement organization in the world. Even if some of them are brought and paid for, there's no chance Lang survives this.", he replied, his voice full of determination.

Valerie shook her head. Hawk was an idealist to a fault, always wanting to do the right thing - a complete opposite to her pragmatism. She guessed that was why she found it so easy to trust him, despite his tendency to embarrass her time and time again.

"Look, if there is any way I can make it up to you, just say it.", he said, walking up to her. She could smell his cologne.

"I can think of a way", smiled Valerie, as she let the shirt fall to the ground.

The End?
