Well... Just ask Eris.

"I knew something was up with this quest!" Kazuma wept comically.

"Look out!" Darkness shouted, moving forward and swinging her sword... A blow General Winter met, slicing the blade clean off of the hilt with his own katana. "My sword!" Darkness wept as she looked at it in shock.

"Whooo! Not me!" Kazuma cheered momentarily, happy that that had happened to someone else for a change.

"Now's not the time!" Aqua snapped. "We can't do anything to him, he lacks a real body!"

"So what then!?" Kazuma panicked as Darkness fell back, barely avoiding another swing.

"Release your snow sprites now, and bow down! He's a generous and forgiving spirit, so our best shot is to apologize!" Aqua shouted, releasing the sprites she had nabbed, and Kazuma followed suit before they both bowed.

Darkness however remained standing. "...I should only be bowing down before Master, not a monster like this..." she was saying.

"You're such a pain, and you're choosing NOW to develop a weird sense of pride!?" Kazuma shouted, shooting up, grabbing Darkness by the head and forcing her down into a bow... Getting out of his own bow in the process.

"Kazuma, you're not bowing!" Aqua shouted in warning.

"Whoops!" Kazuma panicked, turning to see General Winter swinging his blade at him, going right for his neck...

Back to the present.

"So yeah... You got decapitated by an angry winter spirit," Eris told Kazuma sheepishly as she handed him some tea.

"That's what I figured," Kazuma groaned, rubbing at his neck, before drinking. 'At least she's not making fun of me... She's a lot nicer about this than Aqua was... Then again, this death wasn't nearly as humiliating as my first one...'

"...I'm sorry it ended so soon, you were clearly enjoying yourself," Eris remarked, turning her head aside with a blush, clearly aware he had gotten the Sex Note.

"Well, it was nice while it lasted, even if that world was just one big insane asylum in disguise," Kazuma quipped. "...about the monster that killed me..."

"He vanished after cutting you down, so your friends are safe," Eris informed him.

"That's good... Don't want them doing something stupid like trying to avenge me..." Kazuma nodded.
