A familiar situation.

"Kazuma Sato," a female voice spoke to Kazuma as he woke up blearily. It was a familiar place, in fact... It was where he first met Aqua. Opening his eyes, he gazed upon a rather petite woman, but he knew for a fact that she was a goddess like Aqua and of course Ria, though obviously more like Aqua... Hopefully not too much though. The LAST thing he needed was to be mocked for how he died. "Welcome once again to the Great Beyond."

Kazuma sat up, thinking back. 'Did I... Die again?'

"I'm sorry to tell you this, but your time in this world is over, short as it was," this new goddess informed him stoically.

'Yep... I did die again...' Kazuma mentally groaned. '...why is my first thought about how much I want to return to that no good world? I mean, sure, I had a good thing going, but that place might have been more trouble than it was worth... Also, is it just me, or is this goddess a little familiar? I can't place her.'

"Are you alright?" she asked, seeing him deep in thought.

"Er, yeah... You know, aside from the whole being dead again apparently thing," Kazuma replied. "Who are you?"

"Oh, I am the goddess Eris," the goddess introduced herself, and Kazuma remembered that Aqua had talked about her a bit... A bit of an ego, not that Aqua was one to talk, but the currency of the world WAS named after this goddess, so maybe Aqua had a point. And she was Aqua's underling. Plus apparently she was the one who let Ria into the world, partly to mess with Aqua. That automatically put Eris a few points up in his book.

"Right... The events of today happened pretty fast," Kazuma replied. "So mind telling me exactly how I died?"

"Well..." Eris said.
