Rather easily

The town brings a sense of normalcy. It is an odd mix of a medieval town and a a more modern city with magic used instead of technology. Plus you see a few automobiles, motorcycles, and odd, likely magic, vehicles along side horses and other mounts. Dexter helps you shop. You decide to go with masculine attire, well, some might argue, but you are pretty sure you look good. Dexter insists on getting you to wear a blue speedo like panties and matching thigh high stockings. Over this you choose black leather pants, hiking boots, a white tank top, and leather armor, that sort of looks like a short dress from some angles, but that’s just how it works. You get a backpack full of camping gear, toiletries, food and water. Last you go for weapons and instantly are drawn to a magic sword with a thin 28” blade the shop keeper called a small sword that enhances the skill of the user, and is nice and light, under a pound. Dexter also buys you a belt knife. Last you go to the firearm shop and he gets you a cool bolt action carbine in an exotic sounding .30 legend caliber that he gets for a cheap price because the guy doesn’t have any ammo. Dexter insists you will be able to cast a spell to create ammo and hands you 5 scrolls that each create 25 bullets for a rifle or shotgun or twice that many pistol rounds.

Armed and dangerous, you eventually get a room at the inn. You successfully cast the spell and get 5 stripper clips of 5 bullets each. The two of you have a delicious stew and some ale for supper. Finally alone in the room, Dexter looks at you, “Well here is the remaining 7 gold. I guess I should be going. What are you going to do next?”
