"All good ideas, but I've got a better one," Kazuma grinned.

"Alright, alright, I'll pay, I'll pay!" the noble tried to weasel his way out.

"Yeah, too little, too late pal. We will be getting that regardless just from turning you in, the funds will be confiscated and given to us in addition to your prison time. So the reward money will just be for starters if you don't want to go to jail," Kazuma threatened. "And do you know what hardened criminals DO to guys like you? Trust me, it's bad enough that I'd actually feel a modicum of guilt if we went that route, but we will if you don't comply with my demands," Kazuma smirked sadistically.

The noble paled and took a step back. "Th-that's blackmail!"

"So it is..." Kazuma mused. "What's the penalty for that guys?"

"A 500,000 Eris fine, if you get caught," Fio grinned.

"Right, chump change compared to what YOU have to lose... Five years in prison, plus your own fine? Yeah, I'll happily take you down with me if you can even prove the blackmail," Kazuma crossed his arms. "Your call."

"...what do you want?" the noble conceded.

"Smart man," Kazuma nodded. "Or at least, only so stupid... First, you'll increase the reward by half. So 6 million Eris. And I want the deed to your lake house, and the lake itself."

"That's outrageous!" the noble blustered. "You can't-!"

"Oh, is that a police officer I see over there?" Kazuma asked, looking to the side, and sure enough, there was an officer patrolling nearby. "Hey offi-!"

"Alright, alright, you win!" the noble caved, blubbering pathetically. Thirty minutes later, they had the paper for the quest completed, four million Eris rewarded officially, and two more under the table along with Kazuma now grinning as he now owned a piece of land, and the noble could not get out of town fast enough.

"Well well, you're certainly evil," Ria grinned at Kazuma. "That's a nice change of pace, most of the people I let have the Note are almost boringly noble. Just don't get too carried away with that, or I might just take the Note back..."

Kazuma sniggered as he pocketed his share and the deed, already making plans for the land.
