"Casinopolis Heist" (HumanFlea)

Rouge the Bat, one of the worlds best treasure hunters, is on yet another heist for the only treasures that keep slipping through her fingers. As many times as she manages to steal the chaos emeralds she always ends up having to give them up to Sonic to save the world and then they get scattered across the world yet again. But luckily she isn't the only one looking for the emeralds. Why do all the dirty work of finding them and pulling them out of some remote location when she could just steal it from someone else willing to do the dirty work? This particular time she got lucky as the white Chaos Emerald once again found it's way in Casinopolis. A casino Rouge remembered well.

Years ago, the owner of the Station Square Casino had managed to acquire the rare gem and was proudly keeping it in his casino ring vault for one night before he was going to move it to his mansion. Back then Rouge was still sharpening her skills and she planned to steal the emerald that very night. Unfortunately for Rouge, she was not the only one after the Chaos Emerals as Sonic & Tails once again needed the emeralds to save the world. The pair raced through the casino and got to it first only for Dr. Eggman to knock them both and fly off. But being the opportunist Rouge realized that Sonic had to destroy the casino's security bots, open the vault door, and leave a huge pile of rings to reach the emerald. Rouge cleaned that vault out and stole all the rings the blue blur had gathered.

"Good times, even if it didn't go as planned." Rouge smiles at the memory of her past heist as she looks down at Casinopolis yet again and this time she has a new plan to make sure she gets the White Chaos Emerald.
