Day 1 Begins

The first thing they did was cast a warming charm which thankfully still worked. But now came the hard part and that was deciding on what to do. The most obvious answer was shelter but with nothing but their wands they had to get creative about it. More so they needed a good place to set up their shelter and unlike a deserted island or a forest this sort of trial was difficult on its own. An igloo might be useful, but they would still need some way to get warm; and a fire ran the risk of melting the igloo inside out depending on how its constructed.

"So, shelter first, any idea where to start?" Harry asked as he trusted Hermione's brains to get them out of this.

"A cave would be ideal we can build a fire inside and seal up the entrance to stay warm." Hermione said knowing their warming charms can only last so long. "Bloody hell I know we have the charms, but it feels like it's not working out here." Hermione said with a light shiver through her body.

"I know I swear my bullocks are about ready to fall off." Harry added as they went about trying to find shelter first and foremost. Going through the snow-covered land they continued the search for a cave to set up their shelter or if not a good spot to set up an igloo for the night. They only had a month at this and despite her previous doubts Hermione was in it to win it.

After they get their shelter set up, they would start hunting for food preferably animals with thick furs so they can be kept warm. They will also need some firewood because the cold was not forgiving to anyone who is out here naked of all things. A plan was on mind several in fact, they find a cave and after words go out looking for firewood and small animals for food. If they fail in that and it gets late, they find a nice spot to hunker down for the night make an igloo and set up a fire pit to last them the evening. Of course, Hermione had heard rumors of hot springs out in the frozen tundra but she was not about to risk going out to look for one.
