A completely insane idea.

"...you want to do WHAT!?" all five of Kazuma's party members shouted incredulously at him.

"I thought I made myself clear the first time," Kazuma reclined casually in his chair. "Do I need to give you guys a minute to clean the wax out of your ears?"

"No, we heard you just fine, we're just in so much disbelief over what you said that we want you to repeat it so we're certain that you have actually lost your mind instead of just being reasonably sure," Fio deadpanned.

"What she said," Cremea nodded.

"Fine," Kazuma grunted. "I'm thinking we should go to that castle and have a chat with that Dullahan."

"Yep, he's lost it," Aqua nodded sagely.

"It was only a matter of time," Megumin agreed. "Though if we are going, can I blow up his castle while we're there?"

"NO!!!" everyone shouted at once, making Megumin pout.

"Kazuma, you do realize that even Kyouya couldn't beat him last time he tried, right?" Fio asked.

"Two things. First, I kicked Kyouya's ass- and don't say it was via despicable means, they were legitimate tactics!" he cut off Cremea before she could interject. "And second, I did NOT say we were going to fight him, I said have a chat with him. You know, ask him if he can leave, and what it would take to make that happen? Maybe you guys DO need to clean the wax out of your ears..."

Cremea took a deep breath, calming herself. "Okay... Let's say we DO go along with this... What makes you so sure the Dullahan is going to be willing to hear us out, won't just kill us on the spot?"

"The fact that he didn't kill Kyouya, who may be a legitimate threat to him, despite the fact that he was being openly antagonistic to the Dullahan comes to mind," Kazuma replied. "There's also the fact that he let Megumin essentially egging his house every day for a week go the moment we assured him it would stop."

"...egging his house?" Darkness asked curiously.

"A common prank where I come from, basically throwing eggs at someone's house," Kazuma shrugged. He then paused and briefly deadpanned at Fio, who was gleefully writing that down. "...that's more or less how he treated what Megumin was doing."

"And you're sure we can convince him to pack his bags and go?" Aqua asked skeptically.

"Can't hurt to try," Kazuma answered.

"Unless we annoy him enough, and he does kill us," Cremea deadpanned.

"Hey, what's life without a little risk?" Fio chuckled.

"What she said," Kazuma agreed. "So... You guys in?"
