An opportunity to explore

The trio returned to the hotel, where Natasha immediately contacted Fury to report what they'd learned. Meanwhile, Lara began to gather a list of dig sites and museums that were purported to have relics that Joker & Eris might have an interest in. They met up with Diana and spent hours discussing the potential sites that Joker might be headed to. Eventually, they narrowed down the list to just a few possible locations, and Natasha immediately contacted Fury to request information about the sites. Fury approved the request, and in no time, they had everything they needed to begin planning their next move.

"So, Lara, you're our relics expert here -- what's the plan?" Natasha asked.

"This is a race now. We need to find those relics before Joker can. If he gets them to Eris, who knows what kind of havoc she could cause."

"SHIELD can get agents to those sites for us," Natasha said. "They can gather information for us."

"That would be a huge help," Lara said. "That frees us up to check out a few unexplored caves and ruins I've found in the area. They might be dead ends, but I have a hunch that at least one of them is hiding something... something powerful."

Natasha smiled, giving Lara an approving nod. "Usually, I wouldn't chase rumors at this point... but considering your reputation, I trust you, Lara. If your intuition tells you there's something there, I'm sure it's worth looking into."

Diana agreed, as well. "I trust you too. If you want to look into these unexplored caves, I'll be with you every step of the way."

"Great," Natasha said, looking over the list Lara had provided. "So we'll send SHIELD agents to each of the sites and they'll check in with you when they find something. In the meantime, we can prepare for our own expedition."

Lara grinned excitedly, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I've been meaning to get back to these caves for a while now. They're purported to be filled with the remains of the Titans who were killed by Zeus. Now that Joker's found the scythe of Cronus, it's possible we may find some sort of shield against it..."

"...Which would be incredibly helpful when it comes to protecting the Olympians," Diana finished. "It sounds like you've really done your research, Lara. You continue to impress me."
