"Worry not, foolish lich!" Aqua declared. "You'll soon be gone without a tra-"

Whack! "Hey, that's enough of that," Kazuma said bluntly, having hit Aqua, and interrupting her spell, causing the vanished parts of the lich to return.

As Aqua rolled on the ground in pain, and the girl realized she was fine, she sighed in relief. "Whew, that was a close one... Thank you," she told Kazuma. "I'm Wiz, the lich," she introduced herself. "Some call me the No-Life King."

"So why were you out here in this cemetery Wiz?" Kazuma asked, silencing Aqua's protests about him talking to a lich with his hand out.

Wiz immediately explained how she came to this cemetery regularly to help the souls of this who had been unable to afford proper funeral rites, and thus were unable to pass on get to heaven. She also explained that the local priests didn't bother, as they were more concerned with money.

Kazuma gave a glare towards his goddess companion, who immediately shot back, "Hey, my followers are the greedy ones, not me! Same goes for Eris!"

"Well then, can you at least stop making zombies?" Kazuma asked Wiz.

"Unfortunately, I cannot... My own powerful undead nature just makes it so the corpses react to my powers on their own... I don't know what to do about it... I wouldn't need to come here if these poor souls could make it to heaven on their own..."

"...well, at least look into creating a spell that lets you reign in your power perhaps?" Kazuma asked, already thinking of a potential solution, that he could help her with the Sex Note. He just needed to figure out a sexual reason for it.

"No promises one could even work, but that's not a bad idea..." Wiz replied.

The group then left, Aqua still muttering about how unnatural it was to be friendly with a lich, and after a lecture from Megumin about how dangerous that encounter could have been, given how liches tended to be at least close to final boss levels, Darkness took Kazuma aside. "... you're writing her name in the Note tonight, aren't you Master?" she asked quietly.

"Hell yes," Kazuma grinned. "Though... I never thought I'd do ****..." he admitted with a shudder.

"I think it only counts as that if the corpse is dead period, not undead," Darkness shrugged. "Helps that she's not rotting..."

"...true," he smiled.
