Marvel multiverse

The book flew into one portal and appeared out the other side into the Omniverse, it then went hurtling through an invisible barrier before finding itself in a multiverse, it watched the various universes and timelines. It had so many to pick from, these consisted of various people in various outfits, armours, and some had what appears to be powers of different kinds depending on either their specified, environment or even on a person by person basis. There were so many colourful personalities, some wanted to conquer, some wanted price, a few just wanted to watch the world burn. ‘oh look he wants to marry ****. This version of that guys boring, he just wants to wipe out half of all life, ooh pretty stone or gems, oh possibly dangerous pretty stones or gems. Ok let’s see do I go to a hero or villain, hmmmm decisions decisions.’ The book thought as it watched silently. It was tempting to go and cause trouble but also it could do a lot of good.

It was in a timeless void but so although it didn’t actually feel the passage of time it had spent hours watching the multiverse. It narrowed its’ options to one universe in particular and shot off towards it. It was invisible to the beings that it past and silently it entered into the universe it had chosen. It had a choice now, hero or villain, and at what point in the timeline does it chose. ‘Well here goes nothing’ it thought and dashed towards their unsuspecting new owner.

They didn’t know where the book came from but they opened it and read the first page.
