Scream

When the anesthetics wore off and Iko was ordered to wait outside in the waiting room, Sage's screams could be heard from the one operating room.

Dr. Chae had wanted to do a Cesarean but the babies had other plans, ripping the teen severely as they descended excruciatingly, their limbs getting hooked within Sage and causing her to bleed inside whilst pushing.

Another scream echoed through the operating room and Chae had the sweat wiped from her forehead by a Nightingale as he gloved hands were drenched in blood, helping guide the first baby out slowly.

"Here baby number one it born. It's a boy. He needs ventilated immediately."

Chae ordered, nothing how tiny the baby was. This was a given. The babies were too small, they would either survive or die. Sickly children would not make it long in this new world, it was just too harsh.

"She hemorrhaging, I need more gauze. Hurry it up!"

Chae ordered, swapping out the bloody soaked bandages and stuffing a few more wads between her daughters thighs to catch the heavy bleeding.

The other three babies had slowed down on the contractions, but were still going to come eventually. Chae's main priority was stopping the bleed first.
