Casino Night!

Sonic stretch a bit as he decided to go and lounge by the pool near Emerald Coast till the sun set. He figured it’d be good for him anyways.

While drifting off for his nap he couldn’t help but notice how he’s reacting. He’s chasing Amy? Granted Amy has stopped doing that but the irony was not lost in the blue blur. While his eyes closed and the embrace of sleeping took him. It was rare for moments like these so Sonic enjoyed them while he could. As much as he loved to run being able to relax was it’s own reward.

As he opened his eyes the twilight hours were clear in the sky as he stretched getting up and heading for the side door. He whispered to himself, “Hope Amy didn’t change her mind. Looking at the small line forming.” With the usual precautions Sonic made it in and went to get some rings to begin his gambling keeping a sharp eye out for Amy or Vanilla to show up

To his delight, they both did as Amy looked to Vanilla and asked "Well? You ready for a fun night!" Vanilla giggled slightly and said "Yes, fun, it'll be nice to be away from the house for a little break. I love my Cream, but she's got a big head about her." She fluffled her ears and said "I'm feeling lucky tonight, how about you?"

Amy smirked saying "Oh yeah, I'm feeling it, I feel something else too." Vanilla looked at her confused "I don't know why, my old Sonic sense is going off," which got Sonic to cringe a little, so that's how she was always was able to find him. Wow, that is really creepy, "Wonder if he's here?"

Vanilla commented "If he's here, I'll be surprised, Sonic doesn't take me as the type for gambling." She looked around though as Sonic decided to approach them, done with the ease dropping as Vanilla remarked "Though, I have been wrong before."

Sonic let out a smirk saying, "Hey girls, fancy seeing you here." Amy was beaming as Vanilla started to get a little suspect, Sonic could see it in her eyes so he thought face. "I was in town so I thought I'd play the slots a bit, maybe the virtual ones where I'm the ball. The ones about us is usually my biggest play."

Sonic caught Vanilla's eyebrow being raised "So you just so happened to be here for a good time." which caused Sonic to shrug, nothing really wrong with it after all. Amy was excited however as Vanilla spotted it, though I guess we'll have ****. Do you by chance want to join us tonight?" of which Sonic responded that he would love to. Amy smiled in pure job as Sonic returned the favor, might be fun.

The night was going pretty well, Sonic's luck was what he thought, on fire. He was as lucky in gambling as he was not dying, which was great because he's been thinking about a little home to go to when he wants a break so a lucky break that makes him rich as all get out. However, he couldn't help but notice Vanilla's expression change from suspicion to subtle admiration. The confused hedgehog wondered a little what changed her mind. Vanilla looked at Amy and Sonic saying "I'm going to powder my nose then play some blackjack," which caused Amy to respond with "That's cool, I'm going to go hit the buffet, I'm hungry as all get out."

Sonic figured he should join one of them, the question is, which one?
