The day passes quietly until the principal calls for Krissy

Krissy sat quietly in her classes through the rest of the day. No matter what, she couldn't ignore the feeling that somehow, everyone knew what she had done. Every time someone looked at her, she thought it was because they knew. Finally, after a long day of waiting, Krissy was called to see the principal.

She was in her last class, carefully trying to avoid any attention, when knocked on the door and passed a piece of paper to the teacher in the middle of the lesson before leaving quickly.

Krissy's teacher, Mr. Erickson read the paper, then turned to Krissy and said, "Krissy, you are excused from class. Go to Principal Howard's office."

Krissy blushed deeply, embarrassed to have so much attention, and sure that all the other students would gossip about this the second she left.

Standing, she walked briskly out of the class and down the halls until she reached Principal Howard's office again. After waiting indecisively for a couple of minutes, reached out and knocked on the door hesitantly.
