Chapter 4 by MellowMimic

What do they have Barbara auction off next?

Her shoes

“How close to the goal are we?” Barbara asked the organizers. “Oh, not quite there yet.” They lied, “we don’t suppose you’d be willing to part with your shoes? It’s for a good cause and all.” Barbara thought about it and figured it couldn’t hurt. “Alright, but you owe me new ones.” She teased and waltzed back out on stage. “Who’s up for the next bonus round?!” She called out to the audience. A roar of approval erupted from the crowd. Barbara bent down and delicately slid her shoes off, and picked them up. “What’s the starting bid?” She asked, her face blushing a little. She felt a little silly, but it’s for a good cause right? “7,000 mora!” “7,900!” “12’000!” Her fans yelled out, the price going higher and higher until one voice rose above all the others. “30,000 mora if she gives me her leggings too!” The crowd was silent, was this too far? People knew her fans were crazy but that might be pushing it. “I-uh-well I’m not sure I can-“ Barbara stuttered out. “Sold!” Yelled out the organizers to everyone’s disbelief. The crowd erupted pushing the buyer to the front of the crowd. Barbara meanwhile stood stunned, she couldn’t believe it. Though it was probably too late to back out, she felt she had ****. Feeling her face turn bright red, she slid her hands under her dress and carefully slid her leggings down, hyper aware of all the eyes on her. Halfway down, she realized she was way too close to the front row and looking up they got to see much more than she bargained for. She quickly yanked them down to her feet and stepped out of them, doing her best to avoid flashing the crowd. She balled up the leggings and grabbed the shoes, handing them over to the eager buyer, forgetting to take her socks that came off with the leggings. “Thanks for supporting the event.” Barbara said meekly, blushing at the crowd. “Anyway I should be going-“ but was cut off as she was pulled back to the center of the stage. “Not quite, yet. We’re not at the goal yet. We just have to do another round.” He grinned, and the crowd went wild, now knowing it was no holds barred.

What’s the next bid on?
