A symbiotic argument

After falling asleep, the LSV MJ awoke to a vision of Madame Web in front of her. She looked around; clearly she was once again in the space between dimensions.

"Huh. Didn't expect to see you again so soon," MJ remarked. "What's going on? Wait, am I headed to another universe? Because I'm kinda not done here..."

"Your task remains unchanged," Madame Web clarified. "I am merely here to provide a more reliable means of interdimensional communication and travel."

"So I'll be able to bounce between universes on my own?"

"That's correct. Up until now, I have been sending you between realities using a device called a Tallus; I am here to provide you with one of your own. Your wives and Silk have been given Talluses as well; we trust you will use them wisely."

"'We'?" MJ asked curiously. She recalled Madame Web mentioning a Great Weaver of some sort...

"Myself, the Great Weaver... and the entity I have been able to contact with the heart shard you provided me. The entity that suggested I provide you with the Tallus..."

"What 'entity'? You're not making this up as you go along, are you?" MJ wondered.

"Her identity remains hidden to me, and her voice is faint," Madame Web continued. "But she contacted the Great Weaver. It seems she can explain the threads of our universes coming undone. By gathering more of the heart, my link to her will become stronger..."

"...And then she can tell us what's really going on. OK, I think I get it. And this 'Tallus'... can I use it to see my wives any time?"

"Not exactly. While communication between realities is possible at any time, opening a portal will consume a significant amount of power; after that, the Tallus will need around two weeks to recharge," Madame Web explained. "Sending it to you has drained it of its charge."

"So I've got at least two more weeks here. Well, hopefully I can wrap things up before then. Well, I guess I should thank you -- this thing should really come in handy," MJ said gratefully.

"I wish you luck," Madame Web said as she & MJ faded from the space they were in.

MJ woke up, back in the DCM MJ and Kori's apartment guest room. She briefly wondered if what she'd just experienced was a dream, but the presence of the Tallus on her wrist confirmed that it wasn't. MJ realized she now had the ability to travel between universes, and was overwhelmed... I'm in waaaaay over my head, she thought.

The LSV MJ didn't think about it for too long before picking up the loud moans coming from what had to be DCM MJ & Kori's room, and she found herself distracted by the couple.

Sounds like they're having fun, the LSV MJ thought. A lot of fun.

"Yeah. And we're being left out," Nympho called out in her head.

I thought we went over this. When you get hungry, I'll feed you.

You could feed me now! Seriously, walk into Koriand'r and the other you's room and see what happens.

Not now. We have work to do -- and we need their help. Sex could complicate things...

"You thought the same thing about Gwen & Felicia a few years ago..."

You weren't around then -- that was different. We spent a long time getting to know each other...

"...You know yourself better than anyone! And I know you don't think you have bad taste in women."

I'd like to think I know myself pretty well, sure. And I won't deny I'm attracted to Kori -- she's unbelievable. But this is an entirely different universe. So my point still stands.

"Oh go fuck yourself!" the symbiote interrupted.

Geez Nymph, no need to be such an asshole, I was only... aaaand I just got what you meant. OK, that's actually kind of funny.

"Hey, as long as you feed me when I get hungry, I'm on board with whatever we're doing here. Now let's get whatever we're doing here overwith so we can focus on getting laid."
