Normality (Ruffled, Peckish, Mating Mark)

Carlos grabbed his card from the board, watching the penguin, waiting for movement. Only it sat still. Carlos looked down at his card, the picture now washed with red. He flipped it over, a little more than nervous. "Ruffled (Permanent): When agitated you will now feel the need to let off steam in an alternative way. Move 0." More confused than anything Carlos set the card down. "The fuck?"

Jeff sat down next to Carlos, rubbing his back. "You didn't cuddle today did you?" Carlos groaned, pushing away Jeffs arm. He knew the man was trying to cope with what was happening to him but that didn't make his comment any less aggravating. What was worse is that he was beginning to think this game was more than just odd. How did it even know he hadn't complied with the three hour conditions? He grabbed his next card, trying to fight off the annoyance. When Jeff placed his hand on his back again though he buckled.

His back arched slightly to get more of the feeling. Jeff started to rub in a small circle, the action making Carlos forget why he was annoyed in the first place. Just maybe he was a little touch starved. "Carlos, your card." Jackson's words snapped him out of that thought process, letting him look back to his normal looking card. He was still playing the game.

"Peckish: Just the slightest thing could set you off, hopefully you know how to diffuse a situation. Move 5. Draw again." Carlos grumbled and grabbed yet another card. The little penguin hopped one step making Jackson giggle. "Mating Mark: It is only natural you would want to mark your mate in the wild, show what belongs to you. Move 1."

Jeff let out a small laugh, his mood thankfully improving from his previous freak out. "So how are you going to mark us?" Jackson giggled, waiting for the answer himself. Carlos simply rolled his eyes, glad to see Jeff back up and making similar jokes to last night. Today had been too stressful trying to understand and calm him down. Jeff suddenly scrunched up his face, "You better not piss on us."

Carlos coughed back his laughter. He couldn't give Jeff the satisfaction of a laugh. Not yet. "Sounds tempting about now." Jeff shook his head with grin. "How about we move along?"

Jackson nodded, "Yeah, no more pee talk."
