"It's not often I get to be the patient," Jonathan noted, laying down on the hospital bed.

"Not even to see a therapist?" Hane asked as she hooked up electrodes to his scalp.

"Nope," he replied, trying not to stare at her massive cleavage while she was leaning over him.

"Perhaps you should," she suggested. "Everyone should since mental health is just as important as physical health."

"I concur," he nodded.

"Luckily we have Lauren on call," she smiled as she checked the EEG machine. "Have you had an electroencephalogram before?"

"Yes, during my training as an astronaut at NASA."

"So I don't need to give you the boring explanation that normal electrical activity in the brain makes a recognizable pattern and through an EEG, I can look for abnormal patterns that indicate sleep disorders and changes in behavior," she smiled.

"Nope," he smiled back.

"Did you have any caffeinated coffee or tea in the past eight hours?" Hane asked, tapping her tablet.

"Um, I had some tea around oh five hundred this morning," he answered.

She looked down at her wristwatch. "Hmm. How long have you been awake?"

"Around oh five hundred yesterday."

"Okay," she muttered, noting the information down. "Any strenuous exercise since then?"

"Yeah, I worked out in the gym yesterday and this morning," he replied.

"With one of the triplets?" she asked with a smirk.

"Um, yeah, Crystal," he stuttered. "She's an athletic trainer."

"Yes, of course," she nodded. "Is she any good?"

Jonathan paused for a moment, panicking if she was just asking if Crystal was good a being a coach or if she somehow knew that he had sex with triplets. He dashed the illicit thoughts from his mind and nodded, "Yeah, she taught me a couple new things to improve my weight training regiment."

Hane noted his nervousness in her tablet, not that it was relevant to the test.

"Okay, I want you to relax but don't fall asleep," she said, handing him another tablet, "and do these simple hand-eye coordination tests for me."

"Like a video game?"

"Sure, like a video game," Hane nodded. She studied his ruggedly handsome face with his chiseled features while he successfully complete the tests with ease. "How long do you plan on staying awake?"

"I didn't really plan on staying awake for so long," he shrugged.

"Well, it's been thirty-two hours," she said, looking at her wristwatch, "so can you stay awake for another eight hours? I want to run more tests before you finally sleep."

"Sure, I've been awake for days before."

"As a SEAL or as an ER doctor?" she wondered as she began removing the electrodes from his scalp.

"Both," he chuckled.

"Okay, for now don't do anything too strenuous until the scheduled exercise workout at five," Hane said. "No caffeine either!"

"Doctor's orders?" he asked.

"Yes, I'm your doctor," she nodded. "We'll do more EGG tests before and after the workout."

He saluted after sliding off the bed. "Do you want something from the kitchen? I'm going to grab a healthy snack to keep Kaylee off my back."

"I'll come with you," Hane replied, imagining for a moment of herself on his back.
