Ei's tour and Ethan's modification

Ei was still upset for becoming a ****... She had responsibilities in Inazuma ... Hopefully her puppet will do well during her absence.

This Ai girl was bright and cheerful like Makoto... But what stood out were her eyes, they were like stars... So captivating.

The rest of the tour and Ai's explanation was somewhat informative but Harley threw her a pamphlet and walked off, the pamphlet was more informative about this new world.

"Mama!" The two women turned and saw a blonde girl with ruby red eyes and a star in one of them running over.

"Oh that's my daughter Ruby!" Ai smiled at Ei.

"Mama ... And another Mama?" Ruby blinked as she looked between them.

"No, she's Ei!" Ai giggled at the similarities. "She's the electro goddess of her world!"

"Wow! She's so beautiful like you!" Ruby's eyes shined as she looked Ei over. "I love your outfit!"

"Thank you..." Ei muttered a bit nervously... Why was she nervous?

"Mama! I'm gonna start practicing, can you come and watch?" Ruby asked Ai.

"Of course! Come on Ei!" AI dragged Ei and followed Ruby.

Miko must never find out about this... She would never hear the end of it...

A few hours later, Ethan was laying in bed, bandages over his eyes.

"It was a success!" Sakura smiled. "Your eyes should heal and start functioning like normal in a few days."

"... It hurts..." Ethan groaned.

"Expected... Here." Sakura put a pill in Ethan's mouth. "That should help with the pain."

Ethan swallowed and coughed. "What was that?"

"Pain medicine, we actually started growing our own!" Sakura smiled proudly.

"Huh... Useful." Ethan sat up but Sakura **** him to lay down.

"Now I know with your healing factor the process might be sped up but don't push yourself, this modification plus the booster really takes a toll."

"Will my eyes stay the same colour?" Ethan asked worriedly.

"Yes, they should, don't worry, I prefer your blue eyes." Sakura giggled.

"... I should get you an assistant or another medic." Ethan grumbled.

"Already thinking of adding more girls?" Sakura crossed her arms.

"What else am I supposed to think about?" Ethan asked. He then perked up. "Shit the new worlds will be arriving in a few days... I have a promise to keep."

Sakura sighed and rubbed her forehead. "Why do I bother..."

"Is Ethan alright?" Aoi and Freya walked in, Freya looked around in slight fascination.

"Yes he's doing better... Oh is this the new one?" Sakura asked.

"Hello Aoi, Freya." Ethan greeted without looking at them.

"How could he?" Freya frowned.

"Ethan has been training in his sensory abilities." Aoi responded. "Sir if I may ask... Why did you put yourself through this?"

"Vengeance." Ethan scowled.

"... Is this about Ai?" Aoi fronwed.

Ethan didn't respond and laid back down.

"I see... Well I hope you succeed sir." Aoi scowled, she always felt sorry for Ai, the woman had a horrible back story.

Freya looked confused. "What happened?" She asked.

"I'll explain, come on, we should let him rest." Aoi took Freya away.

Sakura looked at Ethan. "... Will this be an issue."

"No it'll be done as soon as I'm able to see again." Ethan responded and yawned.

Sakura finally realized he fell asleep. "If you say so dear..." Sakura sighed softly and sat next to the bed and started to play with his hair.
