Yellow Space - Change in Reality

Georgia watched on as the dice rose up from the ground, spinning in mid air. The dice slowly came to a halt, landing on the table with 1 facing up. This moved Georgia's piece onto a yellow space, a reality transformation space.

Georgia: 1?! How is that fair? All I did was accidentally throw the dice off the table!

Seb: That's bullshit! But I guess you've already pissed the game off honey. Better not test it's patience any more.

Georgia: But I'm scared babe! We don't know what the yellow spaces can do yet.

Seb: Don't worry honey, we've been through a lot in the 7 years I've known you. This game won't change that.

Tentatively, Georgia picked up a card from the top of the yellow deck, turning it over to find that the card was blank.

Georgia: Huh? What does this mean?

Lydia: Maybe you got lucky and got a card that doesn't change anything?

Oliver: Yeah I'm sure that's what it is.

Ethan: (Whispering) What the fuck?.. Why didn't the game change her?

As Georgia placed the card down on the table, ready for the next player to roll, Words suddenly appeared on the once blank card. It now read "From 7 years to 7 weeks..."

The air around the house rippled, with reality altering around the group, changing so that Georgia and Seb had now only known each other for 7 weeks, not 7 years.

Georgia's body language changed. She no longer leaned into Seb, treating him more like a crush than a potential husband. The rings in Seb's pocket vanished.

Ethan noticed the ripple go through the air. No one else seemed to make a comment however...

Oliver: Hey come on lovers! Are you done with your roll now?

Georgia: Oliver! Don't call us that! We've only been on a few dates...

Ethan's ears pricked up. What did Georgia just say? She and Seb had been going out for years. He looked over at them and saw that they did not seem to be as affectionate towards each other as they were moments before. He looked at the others. No one else was taking any notice. Was he the only person that realised what had happened? He decided not to tell them...

Oliver: Whatever. It's my go now.

Ethan: Be careful not to roll it off the table man.

Oliver picked up the dice and gave it a light roll onto the board.
