Rarity

Rarity gave a stretch and a small yawn as she woke. Her silk sheets fell from her body as she did so.

“What a wonderful sleep,” Rarity said to herself, as she then noticed that her panties had been soaked through. Rarity was interrupted from her musings by Sweetie Belle

“Is something the matter Rarity? Is there something on my face?” Sweetie asked as she felt around to try and find it. “Do I have a milk mustache again?”

“Oh no Sweetie, I was just admiring the beautiful young mare you are becoming”

“Gee..fanks Rarity,” Sweetie said as she shoved another spoonful of cereal into her mouth

“Well yes, um I guess I should head out”

“What? You don’t want to eat something first? I could make you something,” Sweetie suggested.

“NO!” Rarity said a bit too quickly. “I mean no. I’ll just grab an apple and head out”

Quickly grabbing an apple, Rarity made her way outside. Once outside she was then in two minds about what to do. Did she invite her beloved Spikey-Wikey along to help hunt for gems or did she surprise him with some once she returned.

Thinking about her thoughts this morning Rarity decided to bring him back some. With how worked up she was this morning she’d never be able to concentrate today with him around.

“Ok horn, which way to our previous gems?”

With her horn lit up, Rarity felt a strong pull. A pull that felt stronger than normal, one that usually meant a very high quality and large amount of gems. Following the spell eventually found herself at the entrance to the Everfree Forest. She gave a nervous gulp, did she dare enter?

“Come now Rarity” she said to herself and she tried to build up the confidence to enter “You’ve been in the Everfree lots of times and come out unscathed. There shouldn’t be any reason to doubt this time would be any different,” she said as she gave a big gulp. Rarity then summoned up all her courage and made her way into the forest.

Rarity looked around at the surrounding forest. The trees loomed over her giving the entire area an almost unnaturally eerie feel. This was supposed to be an easy mission, go into the Everfree, find her gems and leave.

Oh how wrong she was. Rarity had now been wandering through the forest for what had to have been most the day judging from the short periods you could see the sun through tree canopy. She didn’t want to use the word lost but she was. Yes she still knew where she was heading, her spell made sure of that, but knowing how to find her way back was something she still had to figure out. And her day had started out so wonderfully.

That was when Rarity then noticed something up ahead, it was a cave and one that her spell was pointing her directly towards. Arriving at the entrance Rarity was awestruck.

“This crystal is so exquisite. I haven’t seen anything of this quality outside the Crystal Empire and oh my!” Rarity exclaimed.

This wasn’t a cave with crystals as she had initially thought, no this cavern was actually one large crystal that had been carved out into a cave.

“This is amazing! The quality and the size. Even just taking a small portion back with me could bring my designs to a whole new level. Thinking about it, it almost reminds me of Twilight castle or the Tree of Harmony, but that’s just silly, they're miles away from here.”

Rarity continued to look around the entrance to this crystal cavern, she didn’t even have to light up her horn as the wall seemed to have a natural glow to them, illuminating the entire cave. That’s when Rarity noticed that there was a path that led deeper into the cave. Did she dare continue exploring? It wasn’t if she could find her way home and who knows if she’d be able to find this place again.

So Rarity made her way through the cave. She had wandered through the long halls of the cave going further and further down. She was so captivated by the beauty around her she didn’t even notice that she had reached the end. When she saw that there was a long crystal root poking out of the wall, giving off a strange magical aura.

“What is this?” Rarity asked as she reached for the root.
