Ria swoops in

Jaune found himself alone pretty quickly. Ozpin's actions had really freaked him out, that was for sure.

He was pacing outside Beacon, walking the grounds, when suddenly

"Heya!" Ria boomed as she swooped in. Jaune didn't react. He stared at her a moment before continuing to walk.

"Woah woah woah wait a second! We need to talk!" She said

"What about?" He sighed, somewhat annoyed.

"Well, Mr. Grouchypants. Two things. First, regarding... Oh what was her name. The quiet one?" She said.

"Neo?"

"Yeah. Her! Some... New options may have opened for you"

Jaune gave her a questioning look

"You mean I can make her mine?"

"Uh. Maybe not quite yet. But that little love spell of yours has worked wonders on, at least, chipping away at her other loyalties. Dancing with her got her all flustered. And trust me, I know. The things that girl did in the bathroom afterwards - whew! Boggles even my mind. I'm just saying maaaybe, if you're clever, you can start pushing a little harder. Now onto the less important news"

Jaune was barely paying attention, until Ria's next words

"That Oz guy. He saw me."

Jaune stopped in his tracks before giving her a serious look

"What." He didn't ask, but rather stated "and this is the less important news?"

Ria shrugged "sex over spooky. That's my motto. Or one of them. And... Alright maybe he didn't see me *exactly*, but I think he sensed that I was there.

Jaune sat down on a nearby bench and started to think

"Just who the hell *is* this guy..? Nobody knows his surname - or heck maybe Ozpin IS his surname and nobody knows his first name - either way, and now he can apparently 'sense' you? Ria. Let me ask you something. Is there any way to find out his name?"

Ria tapped her chin

"Nothing I can do, really. Shinigami - those ones with the **** Notes I told you about before? They have something they can do. But we're... Less intrusive. So it's not as often."

"But you know people's names, don't you?" He asked

"Yeah. Buuuut not his. It's part of the rather annoying rules I have to follow. Certain people I just can't see anymore. Him, Cinder... Though I already knew her name before, but then circumstances had to give her immunity to the Note..."

Jaune let out a sigh

"So now *I* have to keep an eye on *him* as well as him watching me" he said

"Eh... If that's what you wanna do" Ria shrugged "anyway. Due diligence done! I'm off!" She said

"Off? Off where?"

Ria smirked

"Me and Mercury have a little... Date"she giggled as she vanished.

Jaune let out a sigh. Damn he was stressed. And he needed some relief.

"Mr. Arc" a voice rang out. He looked over to see Glynda approaching.

"Oh. Glyn-- I mean... Professor.." he said
