"Whoa! Nora!"

Nora spread her arms. "How do I look?"

Her friends came running over and she turned in place. "Your scars are gone?" Blake asked which caused her to grin. "Nope."

Pyrrha reached out and took her hand and turned it over. "I don't see them..."

"Wait a second," Nora said and she pulled out a small device stepping away from the others. Slowly her lictenberg scars appeared as her semblance drew in the electrical charge and her strength multiplied.

"Whoa!" Yang exclaimed. "That's pretty cool!"

Nora grinned. "Apparently they naturally fade overtime and Curie used something to accelerate and strengthen the healing process but then we discovered this when my semblance activated! Now they're practically invisible until I power up! Neat huh?" She turned off the small electric current generator device. "We're going to see about getting or installing a couple of these devices or something similar into my equipment so I can "charge up" when necessary! Oh... uh, don't touch me until I can disperse it! Don't want to shock anyone or break anything... I probably should have waited until we were outside!"

Nora rubs the back of her neck chuckling and her friends all look at each other and join in laughing. Classic Nora. They lead her carefully outside and she grins, swinging Magnhild at a good size rock and sending it flying like a golf ball. "Fore!"

Now they all give her a group hug lead by Penny. "We are so happy for you, Nora!"

Nora smiles and hugs them back watching as the scars fade back into disappearing. "Thanks you guys!" She stopped though looking at what some of them were wearing. "Uh, what's up with the outfits some of you are wearing? Short shorts? Swimsuits?"

Pyrrha smiled excitedly! "We're going to wash and polish the vehicles and the other robots later when they're done! We did some of the others and the droids the otherday. Come help us and get changed into something cute!"

Blake nodded and Yang patted her back wgile rubbing at a smudge on her face. "We just finished fixing up the minor damage to Silver from the other night with the droids and robots and were going to wash up and do the same!"

Penny nodded. "We can hang out on the porch while we wait. Pyrrha found something interesting she's been researching about guys liking watching ladies clean machinery. It's intriguing and we want to test it!" She pulled out an old tin. "I also found something interesting hidden in the pantry that we can try out while we wait. "For happy cats" had been written on it..."

"...and how does that feel?"

PAM shivered as her "flesh" reacted. "It... tickles?"

Curie recorded the reaction and Walt smiled. "Good." He gently ran the feather across her pitch-black synthetic skin. She actually jumped and laughed and so did he. "You're all extremely sensitive. Perhaps a bit too much so... we could try toning down the receptors and responses to stimuli a little bit if you ladies want to later on. Until then though just go slowly," he raised his eyebrow and smiled a little rembering their earlier "experiment".

All three nodded their accent and he smiled. "I want you to keep a record or diary of your experiences and feelings with these modifications for us to go over. Any upsetting feelings or discomfort or unusual pain is to be reported immediately. That aside... I think we can call this a success!"

Ada, KL-E-O and PAM excitedly thank him and Curie and congratulate each other. Walt smiles and feels Curie's hand on his shoulder. "It's a wonderful thing that you have given them."

Walt reaches up to take her hand and twines his fingers in hers. "It was nothing... Seeing them like this? It'd be worth years of toil if it made them happy."

Curie smiled and then kissed his cheek. "Oui. You make me happy as well. It's different but similar to the "gift" you gave me as well. The gift of being closer to the human experience... you're still the kind gentleman that I fell in love with..."

Walt rose from where he sat and faced her cupping her cheek. "And you are still the same kind, generous and compassionate person I met and loved, Curie." He slowly kissed her hand. "Thank you."

Curie smiled and blushed. "You're very welcome. I have been talking with Penny... I would like to try picking up where we left off soon. You make me happy."

Walt smiled and nodded. "I would like that. You also make me happy, Curie."

She slowly kissed him and he returned it tenderly. She took a slow step back. "Soon. Very soon... but first..." she glanced at the others.

Walt nodded and also looked. "Yes. Ladies... let's get you "dressed" and upstairs."

Ada, KL-E-O and PAM nodded and put their coverings, stylized breastplates and crotch pieces resembling their old armor, in place. Walt pursed his lips. They were very... sculpted and form-fitting. Not much left to the imagination at all. He was glad they'd picked up a few "dresses" and other things for them to wear outside.

Heading upstairs he found Zwei sitting staring at the door. There was a lot of laughter going on outside. "What's up buddy?"

Zwei looked at Walt then the door and whined. There was a sign that read "Do not let Zwei outside temporarily". Walt raised his eyebrow. "Oh boy... somethings up. Do you need to go?"

Zwei shook his head. Walt patted him. "Alright. I'll go check it out." He pulled a treat out of his pocket and gave it to him. "For being a patient boy."

Zwei barked happily and troted over to lay in his favorite spot. Walt smiled. "You're welcome." He turned to face the door. "Well time to see what the commotion is." He stepped outside.

The first thing he noticed was Blake who practically threw herself into his arms wide eyed. "Whoa there!"

Blake seemed surprised to see him then grinned and hugged him tightly, rubbing her head against him. "Hi," he said surprised by her affection. She looked like she was going to say something but then her eyes went wider again and she leaped off of him. "Sorry Walt!" Yang called as she redirected the laser pointer that Blake was chasing. "Hey. I think I want one of these things in my arm or finger or something!" Pyrrha and Nora were giggling and reminded her they had dibs on the laser next!

Sienna was chasing after Raven who used her strong bunny enhanced legs to keep away trailing a ribbon behind her, with Ilulu and Sasha giggling and following. That's when he noticed Penny sitting down on the porch giggling with Kali and Ahnassi hanging about her acting cutsey and an old tin he recognized in Penny's lap. Manami was recording them and waved to him and he waved back.

Penny looked back smiling at him and patted next to her. "Walt! Come join us."

He chuckled and did. "I see you discovered the catnip."

Penny smiled. "I did! Isn't it wonderful how happy they all are!"

Walt nodded and sat down. As he did Neo grinned and pelted him with a small handful of the stuff.

Ahnassi immediately turned his direction and began rubbing against him instead, purring until she fell backwards in his lap. Her usual robe was gone so she only had some shorts and a tank top on. Several of the ladies were similarly attired. She was covered in the catnip stuck in her fine fur as she rolled cutely.

"Well," he said kissing Penny's cheek. "They certainly do seem happy!" He started rubbing Ahnassi's belly and she purred even louder. "Wasn't what I was expecting today but this is a nice. Spending sometime on the porch with the catgirls." He grinned at Neo and she nodded sitting next to him joining in the playful cuddling.
