Moving out

The four succubi walked out of the bar as the fire within started to spread. There fire alarms had been turned off and this "freak fire" would destroy enough evidence to fool any non-occult specialists of what actually took place inside. Lilin looked around at her crew, now looking like biker babes (from hell) and ordered them to follow her as the group got on motorcycles and drove off.

It took some effort for Lilin to retrace her movement from the day her old body was destroyed, but eventually she found the place. A mansion. The succubi had no desire to lose their advantage of surprise so they kept their distance and the group waited at a distance while Lilin once again took her shadowy form to scout the place. If she was able to escape once in this form, then clearly the defences of the mansion and the Summoner didn't take account of this type of ability. Scouting the place, she wasn't surprised to find that her enemy didn't live alone in a place this large, but she didn't expect a family...

It appeared that the Summoner was a mage (and likely from an older rich family, it would explain the mansion and his considerable power.) She sensed powerful wards protecting the Summoner, but while Lilin kept her distance from him to keep from being noticed, she sensed no magic nor even protective wards in his wife who appeared to be yet another gold digger chosen for her looks rather than anything else. There were also servants, some of whom seemed to have a spark of magical talent: Butler, a pair of maids, driver, cook and a trio of guards. Even with Lilin and her three succubi disciples, this would be a fight. Finally Lilin noted the young man, clearly the son of the Summoner (but his wife seemed too young to have an adult son, so she must have been the step-mother.) He was returning home from university nearby and not only did Lilin sense that he had the potential for magic in him, she saw that the magical wards on him were made by the Summoner rather than the young man himself. He must not have started his training yet. So the ward would be on some piece of clothing or jewelry. This could be the flaw in his defences that she had been looking for...

Of course, she could also go for an all out **** and hope to overcome the defenders before they can react. But taking the slow and methodical approach was also tempting. The Summoner didn't seem to care for his wife enough to expend his powers on protecting her either, and it wasn't like she'd be on the mansion grounds 24/7, so that was another possible angle. As Lilin returned to her crew, they seemed impatient. "So, what's the plan mom?" Liz immediately asked her. "Well... Listen up, this is going to be fun..." Lilin answered with a grin.
