Bump into Sophie

You finished packing your stuff and said goodbye to the head of your faculty before making your way to your car. You made it there and began to load your stuff into the boot before you heard someone walking up behind you. You looked back and saw Sophie making her way past you too her car.

“Hey.” You said as you finished putting your stuff into the boot.

Sophie looked at you with a small smile.

You closed the boot and made your way over to the where Sophie was standing waiting for you.

“Hi.” She said

You chuckled. “Liste-“

“Are you going to take me out or was that a waste of my time?”

You froze, feeling embarrassed. You never meant to lead her on and you felt like shit.

“uhhh.” You paused not expecting her outburst.

You thought she was mad at you.

You stuttered not knowing what to say.

Sophie rolled her eyes.

You didn't know if you should leave it or try to make the situation less awkward. “How about this weekend!” She sighed.

You looked at her puzzled.

She stared at you and gave you a playful punch on the shoulder.

You chuckled. “All right.”
