Jaune notices something

As Jaune stands around, laughing and joking with the girls, he feels something. Something... odd. A chill down his spine.

He looks around, seeing Ozpin is still present in the room. His gaze is affixed to him.

"Damn" he thought to himself "Oz is still suspicious. Me with all these girls around me... he's scoping me out. This is dangerous."

"Oh professsooooor" a voice sings out, as Celestia bounces over to Ozpin.

"Ah. Professor Peach. Is there something I can help with?" he replied

"There is. I have something I need to talk with you about." she answered with a smile

"Celestia, I need to chaperone the dance. Unfortunately I cannot be--"

Glynda then approached behind.

"Sir, I can handle that. Unfortunately this particular issue is something that needs your deft touch."

Ozpin sighs. Jaune could tell he was frustrated - but without knowing anything about the relationship between Jaune and his teachers, well...

"Fine. Celestia, after you. Glynda, I leave this in your capable hands"

Ozpin and Peach head out together. Glynda makes eye contact with Jaune, then gives him a small wink, before marching off to somewhere else in the room. Jaune smiles to himself.

"That's my girls" he thinks "I need to reward them later. No Oz means I can at least have fun. I can't go too crazy - Port and Ooblek are still around, and there are a bunch of other students... but there shouldn't be much of an issue letting loose now."

And letting loose was exactly what he was going to do. Especially after feeling a tap on his shoulder. He spun around to see a familiar face, a girl about Ruby's height with two colored hair and eyes, standing before him wearing a rather lavish dress of black, pink, and white, showing off quite a bit of her cleavage, and cut along the sides to show off her legs when she walked.

Neo gave him a smile and a questioning look.

Neo wanted her dance now, it seemed.

"Now?" he asked

Neo nodded, before gesturing to elsewhere in the room. Mercury and Emerald were standing together - with Emerald in a gorgeous white dress and glaring daggers at Neo - but... it was just them.

"You wanna do it now so Cinder doesn't see, don't you?"

Neo nodded with a smile, clapping her hands together.

"Pyr. I promised Neo a dance. So she and I are going first. After that I'm all--"

He looked to the other girls, who all seemed to be looking at him pleadingly. He shook his head

"All yours. Sorry, girls. I did promise Pyrrha that tonight was for her and her alone. But... I'll be sure the rest of you get some quality time with me soon, okay?"

They all looked a bit disappointed, but then Yang perked up

"Okay. But I know the playlist for tonight, and when the last song comes on, I expect you to be out there sending things off with ALL of us, not just her" she said with a grin.

Jaune rolled his eyes and smiled back

"Fine. When the last song plays, we're all going out there and dancing together. No exceptions. Got it?"

"Understood" Blake nodded

"Yep yep!" Nora beamed.

Soon enough, they had all affirmed that they'd join. He then turned back to Neo, offering his hand to her.

"Shall we, little minx?"

Neo's eyes sparkled with passion and mischief as she took his hand and bolted towards the dance floor, as the first song kicked off.
