Something eventually finds them

Walking through the forest, neither Raikou nor Fujimaru could see any sign of human civilization. The only things seen wandering around was simply the trees and a small mist that permeated the area. "This forest has some kind of ominous feeling attached to it. Hmmm… Master, is it just me or is there something about this area that reminds you of Onigashima? I know that it's not the same area but I can't shake the feeling that there's something similar to it." Raikou's words triggered a thought in the master. Paying closer attention to their surroundings, Fujimaru would notice a red flag concerning the area they were in. At first it seemed like an ordinary forest that one could look at simply by searching for an image of one, but then Fujimaru realized that there were no fauna of any kind. Not a single bird flew over their heads, no insects buzzing in their ears, or a small critter climbing a tree. That’s not to say the plant life around was any better, as the master would realize that there was only one kind of tree for miles making up the woods. This area could not be a real forest and seemed to more resemble how one would paint a picture of one without wishing maximum effort. "The only living things here are just you and me as far as I can tell. This place can't be from a memory and can't be natural, it has to have been made by someone or something." Fujimaru said. "That would explain the feeling of familiarity, the only question would be who or what made it. I wonder if the one's who have been tailing for the last half hour have anything to say about it!" Raikou yelled to an unseen entity.

Approaching from out of the mist were several tall black multi-limbed figures, approximately six in number. With their red and black color pattern, teeth that formed a kind of smile-like appearance, and vague human-spider hybrid look, Fujimaru would recognize these monsters as a pack of Tsuchigumo. Raikou stood between her master and the monsters with her weapons at the ready for battle. "Master please give me your support." Raikou said.

"Of course, readying summons and mystic code support!"
