Dad Calls

Karai kissed the back of April's neck, then she found the back of April's ear and gave it a lick, knowing it drove her crazy.

One of the benefits of having snake DNA that you wouldn't have guessed was that it gave her a forked tongue at least a foot long. While useless for combat applications, her new domestic situation had revealed to her a variety of applications that proved well worth having it. Contrary to popular belief, snakes don't "smell" with their tongues and didn't effect her sense of taste either, but it did give her a sort of extra-sensory perception of the environment. It made her aware of a gas-leak that went unnoticed in April's apartment building, and it helped her cut down on junk food thanks to all of the weird chemicals that went into them.

But their favorite part of having an extra-long tongue was that it made her a master in the art of lovin'. April was certainly grateful, especially since her weird hormones have made her more receptive to Karai's antics.

Knowing that dinner would have to wait, April used her PK to turn off the stove and toss the used cooking tools into the sink for later washing. Karai's tongue crawled down her collarbone as a pair of hands grabbed and squeezed her breasts through her shirt.

Suddenly, April's phone went off. April Jedi'd the phone to her hand from the counter.

"Tell 'em to call back," said Karai as she gave April's shoulder a kiss.

Ignoring her (or at least trying to), April answered.

"Hey Dad. ...Great. I'm just, uh, finishing dinner. ...I'm fine dad. The meds definitely help."

As April tried to sound inconspicuous, Karai undid the snaps of April's denim shorts and let a hand crawl down, finding what she was looking for as she played with the contents of her wife's underwear. She was already very wet.

Kirby was very supportive of April when she came out as gay to him, though the fact that she had to come out as gay when she started dating Karai was a whole other can of worms. He didn't exactly approve of their relationship, especially since the first two encounters he had with the kunoichi was when she had him brainwashed to kidnap his daughter for the Kraang, and later when she lethally poisoned her.

Circumstances not width-standing, he trusted that the turtles would help should she "try" anything. Nothing major happened in the year they dated, and the fact that she was willing to ask for his blessing to marry his daughter, even if it's just for the sake of civility, helped a little. While he had since loosened up around Karai, things were still rather tense, like how one acted around a domesticated jungle cat with its trainer in the room.

Karai's feelings on the matter were just as complicated. Her relationship to the word "dad" was a hot mess and she wasn't interested in calling Kirby that even if he let her. She understand why he was so paranoid around her, but she didn't respect him enough to make any real effort to dissuade him. She thought he was kind of a pussy to be frank. They tolerated each other for April's sake, though telling him that his baby girl was going to have a baby of her own seemed to help.
