An invitation

Hinata was having a relaxing day walking around Konoha when she stumbled into Sakura, who was quick to chat her up.

“Hey Hinata! I've been looking for you.” she said cheerfully.

“Really? What did you need?” Hinata asked.

“A bunch of us are planning on having a little party at Naruto’s new apartment and I was going to invite you.” Sakura answered.

A party? At Naruto's? Hinata stumbled but reassured herself. This was a big chance to play it cool in front of her crush. Maybe even get his attention.

“Really? Who all will be there and what are we doing?” she asked uncharacteristically coolly.

Sakura thought for a moment. “Well... so far it looks like it will be all of us from the rookie twelve, except for Sasuke of course. Even Sai said that he would come. We had planned on playing a few games like truth or dare.”

“Well it sound like fun. When is it?"

“Seven. Bring snacks?” Sakura said happily.

“I’ll be there.” Hinata said
