Hinata let herself feel hopeful for the first time all day and actually brought herself to look in his eyes. Could he seriously let her get dressed? Was this all a test all along? She waited in baited breath as he cruelly held her in suspension.

'Huh? What did he say?!' Hinata's eyes went wide in fear and she took a step back, wincing as her naked back scraped into the rough brick wall.

Hinata gasped. "Y-you're not going to tie a leash on me?!" Her face burned at the thought of being paraded by the neck while naked through her village. Once again she was ashamed at the small part of her that wanted that to happen.

As if his words pressed a button in her mind, Hinata's survival instincts flickered out. Hinata paled and collapsed on the spot.
