Oscar's Draw (Drunken Erection)

“Guess it’s my turn?” Oscar said as he went to draw his card. The game, still unaccustomed to the new tokens, was only able to move the stout Dwarf token at a slightly faster than snail's pace unnoticed by everyone except Jamie who thought they might be convincing themself of it.

“Drunken Erection: When drunk, gain an erection that grows harder as you get more drunk. Move one. End turn. Permanent. This is a warning to play properly.” Oscar read after he flipped over the card that showed a background resembling a blacksmith’s workshop with a furnace and anvil all portrayed in reds.

“Oscar, did you get hard?” Jamie asked, trying to see if his suspicion was accurate or not, disregarding any subtlety he may have had.

After the abrupt and unusual actions of Jamie the others turned to him with a gaze expecting an answer to the odd action.

“Sorry it's just I remembered something my brother said during a call,” Jamie said when he realized he was acting strange after jumping to conclusions.

“It must be relevant to the game and be pretty important if you're acting like this. So what is it?” Sam asked, voicing the other’s thoughts after Jamie’s weird actions.

“Ralph called when we were in the middle of fixing bugs and said something like ‘MP is changing us, i-it knows when we try to avoid it’. When he called I thought that maybe he was high or drunk and dismissed it, but now I think that he may have been playing Male Paradise,” Jamie said, knowing his friends would continue to ask for an answer and recounted what he remembered.

“What makes you think it was actually about Male Paradise and that it was true?” Bernard asked.

“I mean it’s just a suspicion but this game might actually be able to cause changes and understand what we do. Look at the writing on the cards: Sam's said it was a reward for playing properly, while Bernard’s and Oscar’s said it's a warning to play properly. The only difference so far is the tokens we chose; Sam’s Token appeared to come to life, but I could swear I saw Oscar’s token inching forward before he moved it forward himself,” Jamie said, trying to explain his thoughts without sounding crazy.

“You think that this game might actually be really changing us,” Oscar said with a loud laugh.

“Even if it was, you know I would need a lot more **** before I even get buzzed,” Oscar said after he finished laughing, choosing to believe Jamie was just drunk already instead of them actually playing a magic world changing game.

“We can check by getting Oscar drunk,” Calvin said with a devilish grin knowing how handsy and attached Oscar got when drunk.

“Or we could use my turn, I just won’t move my token forward and we see if it moves on its own,” Kevin said as he tried to keep his brother from getting Oscar drunk since he wanted to get some sleep that night.
