Sorry!

The women decided the best game to play would be Sorry! And Jake returned with four glasses and a fancy bottle of red wine. Jake place the bottle and glasses on the bar top. Jake said for them to help themselves and he would set the game up for them to play. He grabbed the board game from the Sarah and set it on the coffee table in the living room. He sat on the floor to better reach the game, rather than drag his chair over. The women quickly joined Jake on the floor, Sarah sits across the table from Jake and Maria and Carla each taking an end.

Really, it was Sarah that convinced them to play Sorry!. Most of the games hadn't really had a foreign equivalent in Spain, and she figured it would be one of the easier ones for Maria and Carla to play since it wasn't all that complicated. Sarah proceed to mildly explaining the game to her friends.

"How do we decide who wins the honor of going first?" Maria inquired. Sarah used her phone to randomly decide the order. Order: 1st Carla, then Maria, followed by Sarah, finally Jake.

Carla beamed as she was selected by the cell phone gods to go first. She was utterly convinced that going first meant she had a greater chance of winning, even though that wasn't really the case. "Take that!" she told everyone, putting her game pieces in the starting spot before her. Everyone else followed suit, picking colors and setting their pieces in the starting positions.

"We could make it more interesting," Maria offered, lining up her pieces in a straight line. Then she fiddled with them and made them a square, then a triangle, uncertain what kind of shape she wanted them to sit in.

"Interesting how?" Jake asked.

"I do not know," Maria mused. "Drinking game. Strip game. Game of dare."

"Game of dare?" Jake was amused at her terminology. He figured she meant something similar to 'Truth or Dare' minus the truth option.

"We could easily make it a drinking game," Sarah chimed in. "Maybe a sip every time someone pulls a 'backwards' card or something. Or a certain number cards." She shrugged, not really sure which made more sense.

Jake thought it sounded interesting, but he wasn't entirely sure which was more appealing to him. He had to think over if them getting drunk would end well for him.
